Eevee looked to Kenji and gave him a slight nod when Ilac wasn't looking, telling him Ilac was the one they'd been looking for.

"Well, I think I have to get going." said Kenji, looking at his watch. "Hope Eevee doesn't give you any trouble."

"Whoa!" said Ilac. "Aren't you even staying for lunch?"

At the mention of lunch, Mimean came out of the house. "Lunch is almost ready," he reported. "Kenji, what flavor do you enjoy the most?"

"Sorry, I'd like to stay but I've got to get to work quick." said Kenji.

"Well, okay," said Ilac. "Mimean, would you see Kenji out real quick?"

"Yes, sir," said Mimean. "This way, Kenji. This house is a labyrinth to the unprepared."

Kenji nodded. "Goodbye, Eevee, be good." he said, smiling and following the Mr. Mime.

"So what do we do now?" asked Eevee.

OOC: Who is Eevee talking to? I can't answer if I'm talking to the wrong person.

OOC: She's talking to Ilac

"Well, do you still want to go to that contest?" Ilac asked. Something was going on, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it...

"I never thought to ask, but you know the rates here, right?" Mimean said as he led Kenji through a twisting hallway. "100 Poke, plus another hundred for each time Eevee levels up. I'll tell Ilac if you don't want training, though. We often take grooming requests."

Eevee nodded. "I'd really like that!"

Kenji handed the Mr. Mime a stack of money. "That good for a down payment?"

"Okay, then!" Ilac said. He tapped his microphone. "Mimean, can you handle the ranch? I'm going to enter a contest in Lilycove."

"Yes, sir," said Mimean. He counted the money swiftly. "This is 300 Poke. If you leave me a number, I'll call you if you'll need more. Thanks." They reached the door. "Okay, Kenji. Come back anytime you want."

Eevee smiled. "I need some training though, right?"

Kenji nodded, giving him a number. "Goodbye." he said, walking off. Once out of sight, his eyes glowed and his human form melted away to reveal an Espeon. "Good luck...my daughter."

"We can get that on the way," Ilac said. "I mean, I have to come into Hoenn through one of a couple cities...so I've got to make my choice wisely. That being said, then I have to fight my way through grass to get to Lilycove City and the Contest Hall." He whistled and Pidge flew up. "Fortree City, please, Pidge." He climbed on, and Pidge cooed an affirmative.

"Oh, actually, I wasn't thinking of entering you," Ilac laughed, "but that's actually a good idea. Hang on, I need some stuff." He turned to Pidge. "Could you drop us by the house for a minute? I forgot to get my ball case." Pidge nodded and took off, landing quickly by the back door of the mansion. "Just a sec, Eevee." He entered the house. When he came back out, he was holding a case. "Do you travel in a Pokeball?"
