Glaedr watched from a distance, a look of jealousy on his face. He loved Aurora, and this Pheonix guy just shows up after leaving them and gets all 'mr nice dragon'. 'I can see underneath that innocent look...I just know he's planning something.' Thought Glaedr, without even thinking, his lips curled up in a snarl. He was unaware that Aurora had looked in his direction at the time he snarled unknowingly.

((I drew Glaedr and Ember...I kept on messing up when I was trying to draw Glaedr's paws, so I re-drew him in a position where you can't see his paws.))

( Ember looks really cheeky. I thought she was red though... meh brown suits her. Do you mouse draw them or do you have a tablet?)

Aurora's face dropped into a twisted cross between anger, fear and surprise. Does it really bother his that much? He's never snarled at me before she thought. She was a bit scared of Glaedr, he was quite large and intimidating. She felt like the timid, lost dragoness he had found her as after saving her from the mists. The one person she had relied upon to provide comfort and safety had more or less betrayed her. That gave her one other spark of kindness to warm herself beside. She buried further into Phoenix, hiding herself as much as she could behind him.

Glaedr took a while to realise he was snarling in her direction, he immediately closed his mouth and blushed slightly. He could see she was now a bit intimidated and this made him curse at himself mentally. He sighed, maybe he was being a bit harsh. A lot of things had been going on with Glaedr, and he couldn't think straight. He thought to all previous events. Venturing into the unknown with Huntress, finding Aurora in the mist, getting the flower, escaping the clutches of the wolves, making the clan members better, his father's death, falling in love with the dragon he thought was crazy, the death of the leader...Every single one of those events had eventually made Glaedr a bit jumpy, especially when the scout dragons were killed at the border. Because of his uneasiness, he attacked Atun when he was playfully pouncing, he hated the guy that helped them and now he was snarling unknowingly at the dragoness he loved.

Aurora didn't pull away from Phoenix when Glaedr stopped snarling. She was still nervous, and was trying to come up with as many reasons as possible why Glaedr had a good reason for snarling. Maybe he was thinking about something else. If he was snarling at Phoenix it wouldn't be nice, but... her thoughts trailed off. She couldn't think of anything now apart from Phoenix's deep and mysterious eyes. She pressed herself against him slightly harder, but not by much.

ooc: oops, I almost forgot about this. Anyways, thanks, I did have a nice easter. I spent my easter with my cousin, and we had an easter egg hunt in his back yard. What did you do for easter?

Pheonix couldn't help but notice that Aurora leaned against him even more. He began to feel slightly uncomfortable and wondered if he, a rogue, should be sitting in a clan's territory with Aurora, a beautiful young dragoness. He quickly pushed that thought away, and started thinking of how much happier he felt. Someone actually cared, and he was grateful for that. Though, there was something else about his past, that was untold and he wondered if he should tell her.

(I ate easter eggs (mmm) but I had an easter egg hunt where we looked for...straws )

Aurora felt her mind and heart torn two ways. Glaedr she loved dearly, he had saved her and he was like a brother to her. But if he feel like a brother to me does that mean I actually love him, or do I love him but it just feels like he is my brother. I don't know what to think, I need to get away from this she thought, feeling how tense the situation was getting. Glaedr and her shared all their secrets, but Phoenix didn't know the one most important thing about her. 'Glaedr?' she whispered softly, her heart hammering.She pulled away from Phoenix, from safety, and took a step or two towards Glaedr.

ooc: Is it alright if both Glaedr and Pheonix are trying to win Aurora over for now, but then later Pheonix joins Huntress's clan and becomes a bad guy?

Glaedr didn't reply, he just stared at her, giving her a look that said 'why on earth are you cuddling with a rogue?'

ooc: Argh, writers block DX. Anyways, I tried to mouse draw a clone Charizard, and this is how it turned out:

(They're your characters, do whatever you like. And holy cow that's good, but I never pictured charizard as stripey. Meh it works. Ooh and I have really pushed off with the new and improved Roars and Claws fic, but it needs to be typed up)

Aurora flinched from Glaedr's look. He must feel really bitter about Phoenix she thought, but took another few steps closer to him. 'Glaedr I'm sorry. Please, don't be cross' she whispered, edging ever closer. The wind chilled her to the bone, caught between two opposing forms she felt exposed and endangered.

(Bump, where are you?)

Of course Glaedr couldn't stay mad at Aurora for long, heck, he wasn't even mad at her in the first place. His anger was fully directed at Pheonix. "No need to be sorry, I'm not cross...At you." He muttered, looking past Aurora, glaring at Pheonix.
