I ran after her. "Wait, Nika!" I said. "Why don't you get your dog, and stay at my house?" I suggested, pulling her to a stop.

I turned around and nodded unsurley, thinking about what his parents would think if I would have shown up at their door step."O-Okay..I'll get my thinsg but stay here okay?" I looked back up "Please." I walked back down the path until I reached my window, I slung my leg over and quicley managed to grab Casper and some clothes and raced back to the forest, the small puppy in my arms.

I stayed, hearing her crash through the underbrush as she ran. Soon, a small bark of a dog reached my ears, and a panting Nika came into view.

I didn't stop when I made it to him "We have to hurry, before my dad gets home." I mumbled, holding Casper tightly to my chest.

I nodded. "It's this way," I said, walking fast in the direction my house was in.

I nodded as I nervously looked around. I knew my father couldn't find us in here but I was worried about what would happen when we came out. I looked over at him, his wound still bleeding lightly.

We soon reached the house safely, and I let out a breath I had been holding. "Come on in," I said, gesturing with my hand towards the now opened door.

I smiled thankfully as I entered the house, Casper still in my arms. I looked around at the house, where was I suppose to go? Do I see in teh living room or go upstairs or do I just wait for him? I took the last one as my only choice and waited for his next move.

"Let's go upstairs," Zane suggested, as if reading her mind. He began his way up the stairs.
