She smiled as she pretended to drop it and then caught it. "Well you're rememberng some things at least. You would have knocked the sword out of a demigod's hand, but I'm a goddess. The move was executed perfectly though." She spun around in a complete circle and brought her blade down on his. She was watching how much of her strength she actually used, knowing it would be unfair to the demigod if she did not restrain it.

He blocked "Well I think John gets the point,"he said

"More specifically, he got a nice little demonstration and you remember how to fight now so you can teach him." She turned to face John. "Ready to learn?" she asked him smiling.

"Sure,"John said shrugging

"Well I'm no good at teaching this so I'll just watch and put in a comment here and there. I'll teach you archery."

He nodded and Percy handed gripped his sword "Hit me,"He said "What?"John said "Hit you?" "I mean Try and hit me with your sword,"he said

Corinthia stepped back out of the way laughing. "It's okay to try and hit him with your sword when your sparring. Besides, if either of you get hurt I'll just heal you. You won't even need ambrosia or nectar."

John shrugged and obeyed and swung his blade at His dad,Then Percy blocked it.

Corinthia observed the scene in front of her. While she watched, a pegasus came by to place a complaint about one of the campers, but she dismissed it saying she would come by the stables to talk to him later. Then, she turned her attention back to Percy and John.

Percy kept trieng to stab at John but he kept blocking. "Not bad,"Percy said grinning,"Thanks,"John said

"Well it looks like he inherited your swordsmanship, Percy." Corinthia said smiling. "Hopefully he inherited his mother's brain though."

Percy rolled his eyes,I hope soHe thought

She laughed. "Well I'm sure his grandmother ensured that he did. And maybe he'll get lucky and even be good at archery too."

John smiled Surprise attack John then lunged at at his father Percy then quickly blocked his move. "Darn it!"John muttered bitterly

Corinthia laughed. "John, the next time you try a suprise attack don't show any indication of it on your face before hand. He probably would've been able to block you without the hint anyway, but the smile was a total give away."
