"In the open air it's more dangerous!" yelled Rokkius, his eyes still squeezed shut.

Jeniyah rolled her eyes at him, but then smiled at the wind in her face. "This is awesome!"

Ooc:// That's a cool saying. Did you make it up yourself?

Bic:// Rokkius opened his eye a crack to look below. "How far is it to our destination?" he asked.

OOC: Yeah, but I heard something simular before.

"Its on the other side of the planet, no way Melba can fly that far in one day and we're not sleeping on her back." said Steven. "So we'll need to camp out several times, that and I'd like to explore some, maybe find out about this 'game master' before we meet him face to face."

After awhile, Reibeak decided to take them on. "Go, COV!" he yelled. His Battlenizer activated, only the energy was dark purple. The energy card scanned itself then flew out, landing on the ground outside his space ship, forming into COV.

OOC: COV stands for Cybernatic Organism Vanguard or Cosmic Organism Vanguard.

Forehead Beam: A powerful beam of energy from his forehead that can be fired in rapid succession.

And of course the fact he has blades for hands.

There are 3 diffrent COVs, this one, COV 2, and Super COV. I think I'll have Reibeak reappear several times and have all three. I wanted their first Reionyx battle to be able to handle two monsters at once but not be too hard.

COV roared and fired his energy beam at Melba, who barely dodged.

"Not another one!" cried Jeniyah, getting out her Battlenizer. "Should I bring someone out?" she asked.

"That's COV." said Steven. He ordered Melba to land. "Melba, get ready." he said, then nodded to Jeniyah.

Reibeak teleported down from his ship. "Hello Reionyx. Are you ready for a Reionyx Battle?" he asked. "Do you know how that works yet?"

Jeniyah held out her Battlenizer. "Way ahead of ya!" she called. "Telesdon, the party has arrived!"

Telesdon's card leaped out of the Battlenizer, flying and spinning until he finally appeared, roaring and tossing his ehad around.

"Now, let me explain how this works." said Reibeak. "Our monsters fight, but each time one of them takes damage, we feel it to an extant." he said. "Depending on your strength, and your connection to your kaiju, you may be in great pain or feel nothing at all." he said. "But if you're not strong enough or extremely connected to your monster, you could die when they do." he said. "Alright COV! Attack!"

COV screeched and charged forwards, slashing at Melba, but the dragon-like kaiju caught it with his pincers then pecked him in the eye, causing Reibeak to cry out in pain and grasp his own eye.

OOC: COV shouldn't actuelly be reconized by Steven if we were worried about that, since COV was from Ultraman Gaia and Ultra Galaxy is in the Ultraman Showa timeline, which are sperate. But Ultra Galaxy really ignored that a lot. The characters reconized every monster basically, even Gan Q, who was from Gaia. So I'm not worrying about it.

Telesdon bit COV in the back of the neck and threw him, making him smash again a boulder. Telesdon gave a roar-y kind of laugh.

COV screeched out but stood up, firing his forehead beams at both of them.

As Melba was hit in her shoulder, Steven felt a burst of pain in his shoulder. "Ow! That does hurt!"

Telesdon was hit with the lazer, and he recoiled, tucking his head under his arms to shield it.

Jeniyah felt a seething burn sensation on her own skin. "Ahh!" he screamed, rubbing the area to make the pain stop, but it didn't work. The fiery pain caused tears to squeeze out of her eyes. "This is awful!" she screamed, tears streaming down her face.

Reibeak chuckled at her reaction. "That is how the Reionyx Battle works!" he said. "You and your monster are one, do you think its fair these creatures can lay their lives on the line for their master without a catch?" he asked, at the same time COV was blasted to the ground by Grangon, knocking Reibeak down as well. "Ow..."

"Not so tough when you're feeling it, are you?" asked Stevens, smiling, having sent out Grangon to help out. "Grangon, bite him!"

Grangon roared and bit down on COV before throwing him for a loop, Reibeak taking the same blow. COV landed at Telesdon's feet.

"Get him, Telesdon!" cried Jeniyah.

Telesdon opened his long snout and clamped onto a fold of the monster's skin, then tore it clean off.

Rokkius cringed. "That's gotta hurt."

Reibeak yelled out in pain, clenching where COV had been bitten, though not bleeding. "Fight back! COV!"

COV slashed Telesdon back with his claws, though Jeniyah wouldn't feel much. Unfortuantly for COV, Melba slammed into the back of his head while Grangon tackled his legs out from under him. The alien monster managed to stand up and force them back with his forehead ray.

Steven groaned in pain from the hits. "This is intense."

"Who's even winning?!" shouted Rokkius. "You guys look like you're in some agony." he added. "I'm glad I didn't get one of those Battlenizier thingies."
