Zac laughed slightly. "Well it's no mansion, but it's pretty nice," he said. "We live much further into the forest, concealed from humans and vampires." Zac emphasized the last word, as if to put meaning behind it.

Ryan looked at Victor and nodded. He followed his motions to the empty room.

Zac laughed. "A castle? So your parents want you to live the same place that guy Dracula did? Isn't it old? Wouldn't it be run - down by now? Or do you guys take care of it?" he said.

Ryan took a minute and let Victor's words seep in. Although he didn't like it, he had to trust Victor. After all, Victor probably knew Emery better than he did. He would have to toughen up and go through it.

"Really, not one bit? That's amazing!" Zac replied.

Ryan nodded. "Yeah, sure," he said.

Zac grinned when he saw Emery's cheeks suddenly get pink. He took a quick look around the cave in order to keep himself from blushing.

Ryan shook his head, and put his hands in his pockets. "Fine. I'm used to being a loner anyway. See yeah later," he said. He planned to go out the door and return only when the mutts were gone. He walked out of the room and walked past the mutts and Emery. "See ya' guys later. I'm outta here 'till the mutts leave."

And with that, Ryan left the cave and headed out towards the forest.

Ryan was almost about to step into the thickness of the forest trees when he heard Emery racing after him.

Zac blushed when Emery touched the back of his hand. He smiled, but lost his grin once he saw Victor's expression. These vamps don't seem to like me very much... he thought.

Ryan stopped in his tracks and turned towards Emery. "Yeah?" he replied.

Zac nodded. "Yeah, we better get going before Mackenzie finds out where we are," he said. He soon got up and was preparing to leave. Once he was ready, he turned to Victor before leading Rachel and Violet out. "Bye Victor. It's been nice meeting all of you," he said.

Rachel nodded and stood up.

Zac nodded, as well as Rachel. Zac turned into his wolf form. His clothes transformed into his fur, and his hands began to turn into paws and head for the floor. He was in full wolf form now, and he waited for Rachel and Violet to transform as well so they could leave.

Rachel followed Zac and transformed.

Ryan shook his head. "Nothing," he lied.
