Kali shook her head, stubborn till the end. "He's going back. If he could make it this far, not even hlaf-way, her can make it the rest of the way back. He probably would have run off by tomorrow anyways!"

Kali mentally reveiwed things in her head. "I can make him leave," she jutted out her chin in Zane's direction, "and stop you from following him. Don't try to control me by threats," she said.

Kali sighed, wishing that friendship wasn't so hard. She changed modes. "Emery-la, please don't sya that. Please don't make it hard," she pleaded, hoping ths would work better.

Zane hugged her back, wrapping his arms around her and fully smiling, his gold eyes closing momentarily.
Kali cleared her throat. "We better start to head on our way," she said.

"Thanks," Kali said shortly, taking her bag and calling her hoverboard. SHe stepped on.
Zane called in his after Kali had, and he stepped on, feeling the tiniest give as it adjusted to his weight, and his bags.
