As Riley began running, he realized Dark wasn't following. He looked back to see him in chains. Riley's expression turned worried and he headed back. He quickly turned back to Aya and Ace and said with a warning tone, "Don't come back for me! If you do, then there'll be trouble!" He said it a little commanding, but only because he didn't want them to come and get hurt. He wanted them to be free. He snarled as a warning to them not to come back, and then headed off again. He arrived once more at the station and ran to Dark. He tried to bite the chains, and they were getting damaged pretty badly, but he couldn't seem to completly break them. He kept biting and biting, and eventually they got weak enough to be broken. "C'mon Dark! You can break it now!" he said encouragingly. But a human next to him threw a chain onto his neck. Riley struggled at the chain and pulled it out of the hands of the human. All there was now was a chain collar on his neck without the leash attached. He sighed in relief and told Dark, "C'mon! Hurry!"

ooc: For now, I want the chain to stay on his neck (I may change my mind later ;D)

Riley nodded and followed after Dark. He looked at the two wolfdogs he had met earlier.

Nika turned and saw Dark, her ears went back in alarm as she raced after him to his den.It was fit for one wolf maybe two, she shook her head."Idiot.." She grumbled as she looked at the group of dogs "Everyone follow me!" She barked, racing into the forest she smelled the air.She soon found the scent of her old den and raced towards it, she passed a sign that read 'No Hunting!', they were safe here from the men.She soon made it to the opening, ten dens within it.She wagged her tail "Stay here, I'll get something for us to eat." She muttered, racing back into the woods to find the scent of elk.She soon caught sight of a large bull, his large antlers were sharpened recently and his muscles were large but she smirked and ran towards him.She launched herself onto his leg, hanging on with her sharp teeth and swinging her back end to where it was on his back.She then spun around and bit his lower neck, still on his back.She raked her claws across his body as blood flow into her mouth.Soon the animal collapsed and she howled in pride of her great catch.Nika grabbed the bull and dragged it back to the group "Here you go, real food." She smirked as she dropped it on the ground.She may be a girl, but she was a strong one.

Riley nodded and followed Nika. As he sat in the den waiting for her to come back with a kill, she suddenly came back. He grinned. "Impressive," he complemented. He ate some of the meat then looked around to see if Aya and Ace came into view. He sniffed the air. They seemed to be out of the city, but not around the cave. His ears shot up and he had his eyes planted outside of the cave. He stared until suddenly he decided to find them. "I'll be back," he said as he left. He went in search for them and eventually found them. "Aya, Ace!" he called. As humans began to run after them from behind, he went behind them and pushed them onward. "I'll tell you where to go, just run fast!" he said to them. He ran beside them so he could protect them from the humans and lead them to the cave at the same time.

Nika smiled and wagged her tail "I fought in the war...I was on the wolf's side of course since I'm more wild than tamed." She explained, she looked at the newer dogs and sat up "Its no problem really, you all can stay here as long as you need.And I'm Nika." She said as she scanned the other dogs and wolf dogs.Soon Riley was gone "I don't get you guys, always trying to be the hero!" She rolled her eyes "I mean, save others of course but you can't save them if your being stupid." She layed back down and blew the bangs from her eyes.

Nika laughed and showed him the scars on three of her legs, left side, and right eye and muzzle."I don't miss my parents, I can tell 'ya that much." She growled in answer to Ace's comment."They treated me like crap, they called me abnormal, strange, different!" She lashed her tail in anger of her horribale child hood, she stood up and walked to her den, memories rushing into her mind.
