Ruger sighed and said "What's wrong, Calico?"

"It was a bit shocking... I'm not your mate..."

"But you can be if you want to be my mate. Like I said you are the one and only."

Calico looked at her paws. "Well, I'd love to be your-"

"Mate?" A large australian shepherd said, laughing. "Dont even think about ti Calico."

Ruger growled at the large Australian Shepherd and said while baring his teeth at the dog and getting infront of Calico "Who are you?"

"Calico's brother, Turbo."

Ruger said while staring at Turbo threateningly "Then, I will have to ask you to leave us alone, Turbo. You are her brother and you should be happy that she found somebody to love who will return the same love, no matter if it's street or house."

"Love? Tell me your kidding!" Turbo said, bellowing with laughter. "Plus, she already has a future mate with Roscoe."

"Then, where is he and I will challenge him to be Calico's mate?"

Turbo lowered his voice. "The gang."

"So, they can bring me to him so I can challenge him. I love Calico and she wants to be my mate, I understood her before you interrupted her, and I will fight for Calico and I."

Turbo grunted. "Then come with me."

"Okay. Calico, I don't want to to see this. Will you please stay here until I or your brother comes back?"

Calico rolled her eyes. "Seriously, why? I've seen death before."

Ruger smiled and said "What if I die? I cant put you through that, Calico. You will become heartbroken. Will you not?"
