Flygon, sensing the attack was over, using the last remaining minutes of its sandstorm to buzz away and out of sight.

Running didn't seem to help in the midst of Pokémon that could teleport or were obviously much faster than her. She'd nearly dropped the sample when a strong, but really random Riolu grabbed her from behind and tried to get her away from the battle. So many Pokémon seemed to be helping her, so much more seemed to be wanting to do harm, it was making her mind swim. So instead of trying to make sense of things and try to flee, Kyrene huddled up in the tightest ball she could and tried to drown out the sounds of the ranging battle. She missed her Flygon as well. She'd have traded seeing all these legendaries just to have it back again.

Soon, she thought, the police would get here and everything will be better.

But that was before a Lugia came up and took her away. She closed her eyes and screamed as loudly as she could as she was taken high into the air. "What're you doing, put me down right now!! No, wait, don't put me down, you might drop me." She screamed again as a gust of wind jostled the small Lugia's flight. "Don't drop me," she shrieked, latching her arms constrictively around the Lugia's neck. "Oh, I'm going to die today," she wailed. "I want to go down!! You put me down right this minute!! But don't drop me. I didn't survive almost being torn apart by my own Flygon just to die from altitude!!"

Kyrene winced at the touch of the Pikachu's touch, but otherwise stopped screaming, although she did retain her suffocating grip around the Lugia. Her head and all the thoughts insider were all static until a Pokémon's voice seemed to whisper at her through the mess. At the current moment, she didn't know whether it was the Lugia or the Riolu speaking to her, but either way, she squeezed her eyes shut and dug her face into the back of the Lugia's neck, shaking her head.

"No," she finally was able to manage. "No, I've studied Pokéruses before, but I've never seen what those... those dark legendaries were made into." She turned her head a little. "I think maybe that --"

Sudddenly, she drew in a sharp breath and screamed again as she dug her face into the Lugia and pointed out to the empty sky beside them. "There's another one," she shrieked, almost pounding her fists on Lugia's back in sheer panic. "I saw another one!! Something red and long and... big!! It flew off and disappeared into the clouds somewhere!!"

The creature Kyrene spoke of was no where in sight.

Personality: Head-strong at times, cocky, fast-thinking, sometimes has stupid ideas, funny, friendly.
History: When he was still an egg, a storm blew, his mother gathered all the eggs except him, and his egg blew away, right into an Arcanine nest, he hatched and played and fed amongst the Growlithe pups, the mother Arcanine had gladly took him in, but he knew he was different. He looked different, sounded different and he was also a different type. But he still stayed with the Arcanine mother and her Growlithe pups. After that he evolved into a Grovyle, and later after that he evolved into a Sceptile. He left with one of his half brothers (who was an Arcanine for he had evolved, matured and wanted to leave the nest) and later the two met a Swellow. The three became friends and formed a sort of "group" and later on a Pikachu joined.

Personility: Friendly, kind and considerate.
History: He hatched and grew up amongst his sibblings, and strangly a Treecko (Sceptile) as well. Soon, when he and the Sceptile were fully grown and had matured enough, they left. Arcanine gladly made friends with the two new arrivals (Pikachu and Swellow).

Species: Swellow
Gender: female
Personility: kind and loving, she'd do anything for a friend, she usually spends her time helping others when help is required.
History: She left her nest when she was a taillow, and she was caught by a trainer who evolved her into a Swellow, later on he released her, for he was kind and could see she wanted to be wild once more.
Crush: none yet, she is also open.

Personility: Sometimes arrogant, wise at times, but he would do anything for his own kind or his 'gang of friends'.

"No!!" Kyrene shouted into the Lugia. "I mean, yes. I mean... I can't think straight!! Put me down right now before I throw up on everyone!!" Already, she could feel her stomach twisting and churning inside. She suddenly felt very sick. [Cue Pecario. XD]

Sorry, I've been having a lot of company over at the house, which means no computer time. I have more company coming over today, but tomorrow I should have more freetime on the computer; however on the weekends I'm limited to computer times because my parents are home. Sorry for the delay. ^^'


Thomas felt his jaws snatch clothing as he dove for the young trainer before lifint to the sky again, keeping clear of any trees that stood in his flight path. He inwardly smiled as he felt that he accomplished something, but when a small amount of turbulance caused him to hastily flap to a higher altitude, the girl began to scream in fear.

"What're you doing, put me down right now!! No, wait, don't put me down, you might drop me."

He groaned to himself before he flapped his great wings again to meet a steady speed and constant altitude, but agian the girl pleased him not to drop her. 'Don't worry, I won't drop you." The young Lugia replied, also using telepathy. In that instant she wrapped herself around Thomas' neck, nearly choking him. He coughed slightly, and in despiration he soared higher so as to not lose his consentration. He was positive that he wouldn't allow the girl to slip from his clutches, but if she did manage to wiggle herself away he would be quick to react and snatched her before she would collide into the earth.

"Oh, I'm going to die today. I want to go down!! You put me down right this minute!! But don't drop me. I didn't survive almost being torn apart by my own Flygon just to die from altitude!!"

Once agian Thomas growled, now slightly annoyed. Why were humans so scared of flight? Whatever the reason, he couldn't afford to land just yet, for he noticed the flaring lights of more humans on their way to the battle site. Feeling as though he should find a safe place to hide fast, the young Lugia leaned back at an angle to where he could climb higher into the atmosphere where he could hopefully hide behind the cover of passing clouds. From what he had seen so far there hadn't been a cloud in the sky, except for a few thin layers that were not adequate for camoflauge. Thomas growled lowly in disappointment but his attantion was stolen when he felt movement on his back. He turned his head and noticed that the Pikachu had crawled her way towards the young nurse in order to comfort her, placing a tiny paw on her shoulder.

"I think you should land."

The young Lugia nodded in agreement and steadily began to glide closer towards the ground, being careful as to not land too fast to where the change in atmospheric pressure would do harm to the human. As he did so, he realized that he was carrying another passenger, another Pokemon and although he couldn't see the little Rilou he was able to hear her. He understood what she was saying and looked through the corner of his eyes back towards the girl, waiting for a reaction.

"No, no, I've studied Pokéruses before, but I've never seen what those... those dark legendaries were made into. I think maybe that --"

His spirits were let down when the young nurse explained that she hadn't a clue what was causing all those discolored Pokemon to act so bizzare. A sigh slipped through his jaws just before he turned his head when the girl screamed in utter horror.

"There's another one, I saw another one!! Something red and long and... big!! It flew off and disappeared into the clouds somewhere!!"

Immediately Thomas looked towards where the girl had claimed to see another Dark Legendary, but to his reliefe, and slight disappointment, he couldnt' see anything but blue sky. He grunted as the girl tighened her grip around his neck, and that was when he figured that now was the best time to find a place to land and find shelter. Fortunately, the Pikachu also had the same idea.

."We need to find shelter and food. Land in those woods over there."

Thomas nodded and dove towards a small clearing in the thick woods before making a safe landing on the hard earth. It was then he heard the Rilou speak again of curing the infected Pokemon, and the thought of being immune caught his attention. 'I must be immune...' He thought, recalling the attack from the infected Pigeot. He turned his head towards the girl and the two Pokemon before speaking in turn. "I must be immune as well, due to the fact that when I was attacked by a strange Pigeot I didn't change." His calming voice spread throughout the mind as he drew closer and closer towards the ground.

"No!! I mean, yes. I mean... I can't think straight!! Put me down right now before I throw up on everyone!!"

He nestled himself close to the ground so that it made it easier for hte passengers to slide or hop off, and so that he could lower his neck for the girl to seize her clinging. "You're safe now, human." The young Lugia assured her, trying to sound as positive as possible, but the truth is no one was ever truely safe. He waited until everyone who wanted off was on the ground before he would take flight again and scout the area.

The Latias jumped back in surprise when Mello had awaken, and seeing the fear in her eyes caused the Dark Latios to smirk. Although the evil thoughts that coursed through his mind blinded him from the truth, he did feel a small sensation of familiarity towards the Latias, something that almost made him regret frightening her. For hte time being he couldn't quite put his finger on the facts, but he was inturrupted when she spoke calmly.

"We're not going to hurt you."

Mello chuckled mockingly. "You, hurt me? Ha!" He steadily rose and hovered just above the ground as he began to feel the numbness leave his body. "After knowing you cured me without me asking I highly doubt you'd attack me." He thought that out of her kindness, the Latias would think twice before injuring the one she had just helped recover, nonetheless, he felt that she would defend herself if he truely meant her harm.

"Calm down, there might be a way to cure you, don't you get it? Miki is immune, she might have the cure to this virus. Fight it!"

The Dark Latios growled loudly before lifting himself into the air a few feet from the two Pokemon. "Why would I want to fight it when I'm not immune? Even if your freind were to cure me, who says that I couldn't get infected again?" He was speaking the truth, knowing that only Team Dark Night created the virus there could be a loophole to the whole curing process. Since Mello had been living with the virus for soem time, he grew to understand it little by little and also began to gorw accustom to it. The power that it gave him was remarkable, however the fact that he lost conrtol so easily did cause him to think secondly before taking any action.

He then looked down at the Latias with a cold stare, meeting her strong gaze with his own before bolting off towards the sky. He needed some time to himself, to ponder why he felt such feelings towards that Latias.

Kyrene clumsily slid off the Lugia, loosing her footing on the solid ground and stumbling over herself. "I don't know anything about this virus," she said quickly at the Riolu. "Nothing, understand? All I know was that I was having a perfectly normal day before a dark Latios came and completely destroyed part of the Pokémon Center I worked at. I was dragged into a fight I never wanted any part of, with Pokémon infected with this... this virus, you say, which is hardly making enough sense as it is, and to top it all off, I just lost my Flygon!! So don't come to me with your troubles and your ideas and questions, because I'm already having a bad day, and I don't have the slightest clue what's going on or how to make any of it better, you understand!!"

Kyrene hadn't even noticed that her voice had gradually raised to a shout. And when the silent Pikachu, Riolu, and Lugia returned her gaze with empty, almost disappointed, stares, she suddenly crumpled down on the grass and began to sob quietly into her knees.

Zippeau blushed slightly. "Umm, there is nothing wrong with girls..it's just that Blade and Blaze over there wanted to play a bit of a prank.." He replied, grinning innocently.

"Well, I guess they have brains the size of walnuts." Replied Joey.
