"Looking for you!" Nate said and glanced at Dev. "I thought we could hang out tonight..." he said and leaned in for a kiss, not feeling the weird vibe around the trio at all.

Dev clenched his fists until they turned white and gave it everything he had not to punch Nate in the face, he would probably have no face after Dev got done with him. But Shay seemed to like him so he decided to be nice. For now.

Nates lips formed a firm line and he felt his hand automatically raise. "How would you rather hang out with this creep than me?" Nate growled, glaring at Dev. He was about to smack Shay for being so disobedient when Dev cut in, grabbing Nates arm and twisting it around off of Shay, making Nate gasp in pain at Dev's unexpectable strength.

"Stay away from her..." Dev growled as he pushed Nate away from them. "Shay says that she's busy tonight and if you can't handle that then you're not a very good boyfriend are you?" Dev snarled, his eyes darkened with anger as he stepped in between Nate and Shay. "We'll see you tommorow Nathanial..." Dev sneered and gently tugged on Shay's hand, leading her to his car. "Don't let me go back there..." Dev said coldly to Shay, the anger that he just lashed out on Nate still coated his voice. But yet he did not want to hurt Nate but he felt that he needed to.

"I don't think you should go near him..." Dev growled, not looking back like Shay did. "He's...horrible for you! he's not a good guy..." (meh writers block)

Dev whinced at her memories and tried to push them out of his mind, putting up a momentary wall before he pulled her into a huge, wrappin his arms securley around her shoulders. "Its okay..." Dev whispered, hating to see her tears.

"Shhh..." Dev said soothingly and stroke the back of Shays hair gently. "Its okay Shay...I don't mind a bit..." he said, not realizing that she had thought that, not said it outloud.

"Of course..." Dev whispred and gently walked out of the hug, but kept his arm slung loosely over her shoudlers, she could move out of it if she wanted to. Dev led her to his car and opened the door for her then went over to his side and turned on the ignition, but he paused momentarily when he got a good look at the stars.

"No..everythings great..." Dev said and smiled, not being able to shake Shay's horrible memories out of his mind. He cast his arm around her shoulders and drove the car with his left hand. "I'm pretty sure I remember where you live..." Dev said as he reached over and kissed the top of her head.

Dev made sure to follow the exact pictures in Shay's head, leading to her house. "Here we are.." Dev said, pulling up slowly into the driveway.
