Sainiu jumped up once Angel was knocked off of her, she backed up laying her ears back. She watched as the two males fought, she felt insanly usless.

Angel yelped loudly when she was hit. She clawed savagely at the black and blue mass ontop of her, she kicked his stomach with her back paws trying to get him off.

Cerebus cringed at the jabs she threw at him. In a frusterated furry, he snapped at her snout, drawing a large ammount of blood...and then the frenzy started. His pupils dialated as soon as the blood touched his mouth. In a split second he was at the wolf's throat, savagly crushing it between his canines.

Kit was registering the scene with horror. How could Cerebus have been so stupid??? Kit sped towards the burly wolf and smacked into him. The shock made Cerebus let go of the she-wolf, but enraged him to extreemes.

Oh no, Tam thought as Cerebus turned on Kit. He struggled away from the wolf attacking him and went to Kit's aid. "Stop! Cerebus, you don't know what you're doing!'

With a final endevor, Kitling grabbed Cerebus's neck while Tam wrestled with his writhing limbs. This would not have been a problem, had Kat's and his morning hunting patrol been succesfull. Cerebus hadn't eaten in days, and the sudden scent of blood made him go rabid.

Angel got up, slowly. Her hair stringing out in blood, sticking to her face. Her eyes glaring to Sainiu. The white she-wolf tackled Sainiu down again.

Sainiu hissed at her, weakly. She snapped randomly, with her eyes closed. Her large fangs found there way to Angels upper arm, sinking in quicly.

Ember ran over to the other two, looking over to Kit and Tam seeing them still holding down the dark one, she kept a distance from the fight, and crouched ready to defend her leader.

Cerebus's vicious roaring alerted Katmai to her worst fear: certain danger. A twang snapped inside her head as her instincts took over. She lunged from her hiding place and into the thick of the fight, right in front of Sainiu and the attacking wolf. "Get...Off...Her." She hissed once she saw Sainiu struggling. Her steely talons were fully retracted and her massive daggar-like fangs gleamed through her parted lips. She started to cirlce the two, her eyes securly fastened on the hostile wolf. "Now." Her voice practically exuded venom, low and barely above a seething whisper.

Ember snapped her headto look at Katmai. Then looked to Angel, to tell her what to do.

Angel growled as she pushed a now weak Sainiu away from her. She laughed wickedly, staring at the durungee. "Ember go" she said under her breath, and grinned as her follower ran off, back to her packlands. She stood still, her eyes now focused on Sainiu: who laid with her eyes closed, and on the ground huddled up. Angel could tell that the sabre mix was not usedto pain.. It made it all the better for Angel.

Katmai threw a cautionary glance at the wolfress. Did she know she was outnumbered? She gazed warily at the white female, then made a move towards Sainiu, concered primarily for her pack's safety--now, for Sainiu's safety.

Angel growled as Kat moved closer to Sainiu. She looked over her shoulder to the males, but back to Kat. She grinned evily and let out a low chuckle. Slowly she backed up towards where Ember left, she would take down Sainiu later since she was already weak, and the odd wolf had a nasty habbit for running off. Angel urned around quickly and dashed off.

Kat started after where the white wolfrees had disappeared for a while, then turned to tend to Sainiu. "Are you alright?" She noticed some deep, red gashes across her body. With a worried look she turned toTam, then quickly at Cerebus, who had calmed down some.

Tam was worried about his sister, but realized what Katmai must have been thinking. He turned to the shaken wolf, "C'mon Cerebus. You need to eat something..."

The dark wolf shot a forboding look at Tam, but it softened when he realized that he was right. He looked over towards Kitling, who returned the gaze steadily,and then towards Katmai and Sainiu. "I'll see you later then," he said raspily, then stood up and disappeared through the thicket.

Sainiu watched as the others left, her glance then changed to look at Katmai "Sorry..." she said softly, laying her head down onto her paws, before tempting to stand.

Katmai lifted her head incredulously. " 'Sorry'?" A soft chuckle escaped her lips. "I'm just glad you're alright."

"Sainiu?" Tam hesitently padded over towards his sister. "I'm sorry I left you alone...." He said softly, taking in her wounds. After a moment he added quietly, "You too,Kat..."

She smiled. "It's alright, Tam," She braced herself against Sainiu, giving support for her to stand, "It seems you are in worse shape then I am," Katmai winced she looked at Tam's ear.

Sainiu smiled softly, leaning up against Kat. She stayed quiet, looking to her paws, flexing softly. When the durungee made her comment on Tam's ear, Sainiu perked and looked to her brother, laying her ears back.

"Oh.." Tam followed her gaze and realized she was staring at his torn ear. He pinned what was left of it back. "It's not a problem really..." He murmured letting his gaze wander.

"Who were they?" Kat asked Sainiu. She recalled the scent from earlier, and remembered the tense moments when it followed them on the patrol.

Kitling padded over, not one scratch on marring his ashy fur. "Obviously we aren't alone in our territory anymore."

Sainiu tilted her head, with Tam's ripped ear.. he really looked like their dad-- She shook her head claering the thoughts: un important. She looked down to her paws again, drading her tounge along the inside of one of her fangs "The wolves I talked about earlier, Angel and Ember..." she said softly.

Kit paused for a long moment before replying, "...They are strong. But not as we are. Tell me; how do you know such creatures?"

Sainiu closed her eyes then then to Kit "The white one, used to be the alpha along with my uncle. Toxic said she went insane and he banished her." She paused for a moment, trying to recall what her mother had told her "Uhm... she has been trying to kill out pack ever since," she said, moiving away from Katmai now and shaking out her coat followe by a small whine.
