Alaska shook her head slowly "I'm gonna go hoem.." She said, she soon came to the door and walked in.Her head hung low as she ra into somthing hard and warm "Um..hi..!" She smiled sheepishly at Troy "Sorry..' She blushed.

"Uh, no problem," Troy said distractedly to Alaska. Then he turned to Cassie and smiled warnly. "Here, come on. If I don't get you in the living room and sitting, you'll see the fierce side of her. The side that reveals when someone forgets to do the dishes," he added jokingly.

Carrie got teh ice and came back itno the hall then crossed her arms. "Troy, will you please do as I asked? Are you hungry, dear?"

"Only the obvious," Lucy teased.

"wait, I think she just insulted us," Newt said with mock stupidity.

Garret took a deep breath of fresh air. "It feels good to be out of that van," he said.

"Lets just get inside," Bridget said, walking toward the cafe. She was inside and in line before anyone could slow her down.

Nessa turned her head to watch a girl around her age come into the cafe and stand in line behind her. Nessa turned back around, her interest not held since she didn't recognize her.

"No, I-I'm fine," Cassie said, feeling slightly uncomfortable being waited on. "I don;t want to be a bother. Maybe I should go." She stood up too quickly, making her head swim. She tried to blink back the nasea, but fell towards the floor anyways.

"Really?" Matt said in a mocking. "You know what? I think you're right."

Cody sighed sadly and said "Then I guess you want me to go. I will not be a nuisance." Cody turned around and started to walk very slowly and sadly towards his car while keeping his head down.

Alaska perked up "Whos your friend Troy?" She smiled, a new girl in the house would be fun.She sat cross-legged on the arm of the couch, she was alot like Alice from Twilight in her happy mood.Her eyes glittered in the light as she looked at the girl then back at Troy "Is she one of us?" She whispered quikley to him, her lps looked like they could be quivering than making words but she was sure Troy could understand her.

Troy caught her before she fell. "It isn't any bother, trust me. Come on."slowly, helead her to the couch and gently set her down. "Cassie, this si Alaska. Alaska, this is Cassie." He noded slightly at Alaska as ana answer to her question.

"I'm making food anyway soit won't be out of my way," Carrie promisd, looking worried, as she headed back to the kitchen.

"Oh, yay. the two of you do have brains," Lucy mocked as well.

Dropping the mock voice, Newt grinned. "Well, you never know you you,Luce! you might really think we are stupid!"

"Yeah, you're brother hasn't exactly warmed up to me yet," Garret said with a teasing smile.

Bridget looked at Zared with one cocked eyebrow. "I didn't think you'd leave Shay's side," she said, only half joking.

Luna watched Cody leave, depating whether to call him back or not. She decided against it, and walked back inside and closed the door. She walked into the living room, staring at her necklace. She came in at the last part if Troy's sentence. She clipped her necklace back into place and said, "Where'd you pick up the stray?"

Cassie glanced at Alaska and the new girl that had walked in. She wasn't at all sure about herself in the crowd that seemed to be forming.

"I wouldn't put it passed her," Matt said to Newt, but looked at Lucy.

Alaska giggled "Will you stay with us?" She smiled at the girl "I mean, if you want to of course!" SHe looked at Troy, her eyes sparkled.Her and Troy were about the same age, just that Alaska was four months younger.

"I do not think you guys are stupid!" Lucy said witha small smile.

Troy let out a soft, non-threatening growl at Luna. "Luna, come on. Be nice. This is Cassie. Cassie, meet Luna." He looked at Alaska and roleld her eyes. His foster sister knew how Luna could be. He lvoed his foster sister (like fmaily) but sometimes she could be so rude nad uninviting. "you're welcome to stay as long as you want, Cassie."

"He's right, dear," Carrie told her from the kitchen. "Heaven knows one more won'tbe a bother. You'd be welcomed wiht open arms."

"Don;t worry. I;m prepared to wait," Garret said, walking to the cafe and holding the door open for Shay.

"Would you at least try to act human!" Bridget whispered scoldingly at Zared.

"I am being nice," Luna growled, showing her teeth slightly. She crossed her arms and leaned agianst the wall.

"What exactly is this place?" Cassie asked, looking around the house and the wolves in it again.

"We know that," Matte said with a smile. "Maybe."

Troy smiled at her. "This is a foster home forwerewolves. We're taken offthe streets so we ahve a chance to live our lives, try to be normal, figure out how to dictate our lives without fear. Tehy take us when we give up hope of ever fitting ina gain. It's a grea,t uspportive place ot live. I think you'd like it."
