"Slaves..." Something about this was oddly familiar. Did Brome tell him of it? He thought to Brome's old stories. Where were Felldoh and MArtin from again? And what ahd brougth them together?

"Well?" Elijah looked at his sister, startled. "What's up?" he mouthed to her.

Drake took it and smiled. "Thanks, June."

"You're what?" Elijah stared at her, shoicked, his jaw hanging open in an "o" shape.

"Help?" aked June, she couldn't help but smile ruefully. "We help those who we can, Drake...We stick up for one another." she nodded, looking at a grizzly looking otter, lash marks all about his form, as well as some knife scars. "Some more than others."


Marigold nodded, closing her eyes. "Take it in, honey." she said, foldign her paws on the table.

"I want to end this," Drake growled. "It has to end." And i'm going to do it....

"Okay, I think I'm okay now," breathed Elijah. "So, do I have to call him uncle now?"

Drake met June's gaze for a moment then leapt onto a ledge in the pit and looked down at tehm all. "In my opinion, better to die trying than to not try at all. First..." He looked at the ceilign of the pit. "First, we must get out of here." Though he had never emt his father, Drake had much of his father's personality, especially his hard-headed sense of duty.

Elijah smiled and finished his food. "What's the story?"

June gasped, looking up at Drake for a moment. However, she smiled and got up with him. "This..this is a warrior's son! He speaks like a warrior as well, this is our chance to get rid of our shackles!" a few tears glittered in her bright, joyous eyes.


Marigold chuckled. "both of you, in bed first before I really being." she cleared her throat. "I met your Father in a place called Marshank, run by a horrible tyrant...Your Father's name, my darlings, was Felldoh, a great warrior and a wonderful beast." Marigold blushed a bit, and a few tears slid into her eyes as she thought.

Hope nodded and went into the other room, her and Elijah's room. "C'mon, Elijah!" she said, putting a nightgown on.

drake smiled at June, grateful for her help. He turned to the otehrs and thrust his paw into the air. "Who is with us?"

Mask took a step forward. "Aye, count me in, mates. It's jolly well time to take back the freedom Huntress took by force. Although.." he looked at Drake. "I don't knwo it the older creatures can make it. Poor Barkjon over there is barely hangin on," he whispered in an udnertone, "he survived Marshank but his odds in this one aren't so good."

Elijah loped to their room and pulld on his night clothes as well and crawled in bed.

June nodded sadly. "But, we need to get all out, or else Huntress may..." she shook her head, putting her own paw in.

Molly came up, putting her own paw on top. "Jolly well said, sah. Got to stop the blaggard from hurtin anymore beasts, wot?"

Marigold laughed, and grabbed something special to her; Felldoh's javelin. She could have wept then and there, but carried the sharpened and fire hardened stave with her. She smiled at the twins, and sat in between their beds. She slowly brandished the fire hardened stave. "This..was your Father's. He was the greatest warrior with this than anybeast with a sword." thus, she began to tell the story of Marshank, o Felldoh and Rose and Brome. Of course, of their GrandFather, Barkjon. She looked at her two children faces as she told the story.
