... There's a lot of things on GIMP I just can't figure out... All I know how to do is recolor (make renders) and resize images!

I noticed a post that said something about shading, I think it does do shading. Not really sure, but then again if I ever want to shade something I do it myself... I don't really need to rely on a program to help do it for me.
I've noticed a lot of people seem to get viruses when they get GIMP. I doubt it's GIMP, but maybe a hacker that hides out on the site and waits for someone to mess with after they're downloading it. So then it seems like it's the program when it really isn't... I'm not too sure on that, it's a thought. I've had a few viruses myself... They SUCK. I hate hackers, they're people who are bored with their own lives and find amusement in ruining peoples computers! It's just so evil and sad. If I knew the people who created Viruses I'd hit them up-side-the-head with a base-ball bat! Yeah,GIMP is a great program. And,hackers is evil's.They just don't know what to do.And,can i get new GIMP brushes from somewhere? Is they really can be finded somewhere?

I am glad you mentioned PhotoFiltre. It's what I use, and has many the same features as GIMP, though simpler. I've used it for years, and I am always learning new things about it. I mean, if I didn't have it I wouldn't be able to do my renders. MS paint is soo annoying. I'm in love with PhotoFiltre. It's also only one window, so there's no confusion.
