Wolfbane thought about for a short while before turning towards the darkness to see something that only he could. "Is it true that humans have become slaves since the war has ended?" And in his mind's eye, he could see his friends, all of them being forced to do things that they had never wanted to do...

Matt was getting mad for not being in the convo. So he walked out of the cave and ran off.

BUMP

Kitsune looked sadly at Matt then back to Wolfbane "Yes,most humans that are still alive were insalved by the order of an alpha from a wolf pack"She said "He died and passed laws before then,so here we are"

Wolfbane just sighed and growled to himself. But he controlled himself before he went on. "And the animals," he quickly mentioned. "What has become of them since the war? Do most of them have slaves as well?" He started trembling as he asked the questions filling up his mind with thoughts of pain and anguish from his father's death...and possibly from his own as well.

Kitsune's became serous "Yes,I'm afraid so"HEr voice held no more emotion.

Matt sat on the ledge of the cliff. Watching the sunset go down. This was the best time to have peace. Ever animal was awaking or heading to bed.

Wolfbane quickly turned away to hide any invisible tears that might fall. But that was all that he needed to know. He took a deep breath and let it all out in a heavy sigh before turning back towards Kitsune with another straight face. "Thank you," he silently replied. He then glanced over at Matt before looking back at the fox demon. "And...I was just wondering... Do you need any help with anything else at all? Because I want to be of some use again. You see the thing is-" He cut himself off before he said too much. "Sorry," he quickly added, nodding and now waiting for an answer...and a very direct answer indeed.

Kitsune sighed "If i die tomorrow, take person over there for me"She said pointing to Matt."I must rest for it"She turned fox and laid for sleep

Matt kicked his legs agenst the rock. Till the sun had set. Then he ran back inside he saw the fox about to sleep. So he ran over to her and layed down beside her.

Wolfbane just nodded before turning towards Matt. He let out another huge sigh and reluctantly walked over to his side, feeling pity, yet concern, for the youngster. He sat down beside him as he watched the sunset rise with kind and thoughtful eyes. "I used to do this every night with my father," he began for no reason whatsoever. "But since he died in the war...I pretty much do it all by myself. It gets pretty lonely after a while. I've always wished I could do this with someone else...hopefully my sisters."

Matt looked back at him. "Come with me! Lay with me." He said. "I get cold at night." He said laying in a bed of stray

Kitsune closed her eyes after she lightly laid her puffy tail around Matt. "Go ahead and lay with us"She said to Wolfbane as she lifted her tail.

Wolfbane just let out a small smile before walking over to his new friends and curled up beside Matt, making sure that his thick black fur made him warm and comfortable enough. "...Thank you both...so very much," he whispered. His mind started to wander for a bit before finally drifting into the first peaceful sleep that he had ever had in all of his years of false existance....

Durning the night! Matt was having a nightmare of how his parents were being killed off. He awake kicking and almost screaming
