"Yeah, Like Kai said." said Lena, smiling. "We're not going to leave her with some psycho."
"What does she mean psycho?" asked Balto.
"But he did nearly kill papa." said Cachen. "He came along though."
"Strange, all canines go to heaven but I didn't see him there." said Aniu. "And did you ever see his body?" she asked, giving a wolfish smirk. "All you have was the pack's say so...and if I've not seen him in heaven and obviously he's not in the other place, well why don't you tell me what that must mean?"

"Oh," Kodi sighed "Fang thinks he knows the human that took Katie. His name is Mako, he owns a fighting ring..." he gulped, not wanting to say anymore.
Kai blinked softly, a bit stunned.
Goldie nodded "Who can blame him? That was his only daughter. I'm sure your Dad is protective of your sisters."
Katie tilted her head for a moment, focusing slightly. At the pang of realization,she smiled wide, eyes brimming with tears. "He's...He's alive! My Father, he's alive!" she said below her breath, a few silent tears going down her face.

"Well then what are we sitting here for? Lets get Cachen, Goldie, and Tai and get going." said Balto. "Katie might save herself before we get there."
Cachen nodded. "Yeah, I understand."
"Yes, Bashkei is still alive. He was badly hurt but Nava saved his life." said Aniu, smiling. "He decided to stay out of your life because well lets face it, he and Kodi didn't really get off on the right paw did they?" she asked. "Bashkei can be stubborn, you know that better than anyone." she said. "And I promise you this, before this adventure ends, you will see him again. A little birdie will lead him in the right direct." she said, already having put him on the right direction as a Raven.

Katie smiled, trying to keep herself calm as she wiped her tears away. "Uncle always loved his younger brother." she chuckled, tail swishing against the floor. "Thank you." she said.

"Alright, what will we need for the trip?" asked Balto. "Other than fighting spirit, I think Kai has enough for everyone." he said, smiling at his grandson, he knew he loved to fight.
"We're going to kick whoever took our mom's butt." said Cachen.
Aniu nodded. "He's been living in an unclaimed territory all this time." she said. "He misses you." she said. "I'm telling you all this to give you hope."
OOC: I just realized something, if this takes place after Race for Life (please update that by the way) isn't Jenna pregenent?"

Kai looked away, a bit embarassed. He couldn't help but stick his touge out at his GrandFather.
Kodi smiled. "Well, not much, really. I don't think we need anything. You might want to tell Mom though."
Goldie laughed at his words. "That's right." she grinned.
"Trust me," said Katie with a big smile. "you've done more than enough. Knowing my Father's alive and wants to see me...My children will finally know why I love him so."

"Yeah, if I don't she might find out and sneak along and seeing that we're expecting more pups, wouldn't be good." said Balto. "I'll meet you at the den alright?"
Fang looked at Kai. "Do you need some alone time?" he whispered, refering to the fox burrow to let out his saddness.
Cachen nodded. "I'll hurt them."
Aniu nodded. "Which reminds me, I'm going to go make sure he's still on the right track." she said. "I'll be back." she said and disappeared into snow. She turned into a Raven and landed on a branch near Bashkei. She squaked at him.

Kodi nodded, giving a slight smile to Balto. "Okay, Dad. Lena, Kai, let's go." he said and walked toward the door, Kai in tow.
Kai shook his head, smiling slightly at Fang. "No, I'm ok. I'll save the energy for when we find Mom."
Goldie's eyes widened, looking a bit confused. "Really?"
Bashkei groaned slightly as he heard the noise. "Yea yea, I know." he said, winding through trees. "You don't think I wouldn't want to see my daughter, do you?" he couldn't help but grin at the mention of Katie.

Balto left to tell Jenna.
Fang nodded. "Ok, just making sure." he said.
"...I have a feeling...we'll have no choice but to fight them." said Cachen. "I've just got this feeling very bad people took momma." he said. "If they try to hurt my family, I'll have no choice to fight back."
Aniu nodded and flew ahead of him down the path until she was out of sight, then returned to Katie in her true form. "He's on his way, he'll meet up with your family after they've started off."

Jenna sighed, having just woken up. She looked out the window, and strained herself to get up. It was obvious she was more heavily pregnant than beforehand.
Kai nodded. "Thanks."
Goldie's eyes widened, looking very surprised. "But Cachen, what if you REALLY hurt them?" she murmured, referring to his hemophobia.
Katie's eyes widened, looking a bit shocked. "What?! My family, come HERE? No, no..." she shook her head back and forth. "Kai I can understand, even Lena. Tai even! But, not my Cachane'...Not my little son."

Balto walked into the warm shed with Jenna, like last time she stayed here while she was pregnent, it was very comfortable. "Hello Jenna." he said in a voice that would let her know something was wrong.
Fang nodded. "Alright." he said. "We'll fix this, just like we always do."
Cachen gulpped. "I hadn't thought about that."
"Cachen most strongly wants to go." said Aniu. "He can't bare being seprated from you." she said. "You know that." she said.

Jenna blinked a moment, looking up at Balto seriously. "What's the matter?" she asked, looking almost afraid to hear the answer. She begins to straighten up, trying not to groan out loud.
Kai nodded softly, beginning to follow Kodi out. "We will."
Goldie nodded softly, not sure what to say.
"But-but..." Katie tried to gesture to the drying blood on her. "Look what's already happened to me! Cachen hates blood. He's gotten better, but, seeing me bleed might take him over the edge...He nearly died the first time." she looked to Aniu for some sort of answer.

"Katie was wolfnapped last night." said Balto. "We think it was by a man named Mako...he owns a dog fighting ring in Ancaridge."
Fang nodded. "Your momma is tough, she'll be alright."
"I'll probably just throw up." said Cachen.
"I know." said Aniu. "But there is no way to stop him." she said. "He's dead set on protecting you." she said. "He'll probably get sick but I'm sure he'll be fine from seeing you again."

Jenna looked at Balto fearfully. "No...don't tell me you're going that far!" she said, knowing full well she had to stay there.
Kai nodded. "I know." he said, looking fairly confident.
"But..." said Goldie, looking concerned. "But, this is your Mother. You might not just throw up."
"No!" Katie said with finality. "I don't want my son to see me bleed." she sighed a moment, eyes hurt. "At least, not bleed like this."

"We have no choice." said Balto. "We're pretty sure Mako took Katie and he only has two uses for her...ether a mother for wolfdogs for the fighting ring, or a 'workout' for his dogs."
"Heck your momma might save herself before we even get here." said Fang.
"I'm going to save her." said Cachen. "She means a lot to me...I'm her little north star, I can't stand to be without her...it hurts." he said, on the verge of tears.
"I can't stop him from coming Katie." said Aniu. "I can lead people, I can test people but I can't make them do something they're dead set against, in this case Cachen is deadset on coming to save you." she said. "I know you don't want him to come but there is nothing I can do."
