I admit there are plenty of people who take their dislike of Twilight too far(especially on youtube).

But that's to be expected with anything. No matter what something is there will always be people that hate it for good or bad reasons. It's just the way things are

And yes, it isn't fair for people to mindlessly bash Twilight so much but once again; it's gonna happen with anything.

But then again, so do some hardcore Twilight-lovers. I love Twilight, and I'm not ashamed to say it. The books captivated me, and the film just blew me away. I can't begin to say how much I'm in love with the series & film. But some Twilight-lovers take it too far aswell. xD it's a shame the Twilight fandom is destroying the series. But ... oh well. What're you gonna do?

I agree with you here. There is too much bashing from the extreme haters, and too much "OMGOMGOMG TWILIGHT IS AMAZING READ IT OR DIE!!!!111ONDONE" from the Twilight obsessed fangirls. -.-' Which is honestly why I didn't read Twilight until a short while ago.

There's nothing wrong with not liking the book (though I think to hate it is kinda dumb. lol...). And there's nothing wrong to like it. But those rabid fans... They scare me. D: And ruin the fandom. (Expecially those that go ON AND ON about how badly they want Edward. -.- I mean, hello he's a fictional character. And if he was real, he wouldn't give a crap about them. lmao).

I saw it 4 times at the cinema xD yep! when me and my friend went out of the ciname, I said her "when will start the next show?" "well, now!" we looked to each other and we bought another ticket and watched it again, after I went with my mother and again with another friend xD
Now I'm waiting the DVD, it should arrive in April if I'm not wrong...

Oh, well, and my favourite char is Jasper!

I actually do feel rather sorry for the fans that aren't rabid manics like 80% of the fans have become. I mean, I dislike the series (it's become a pet hate now, yay) but I do admit that the books are tolerable for someone like me, I can read them if I want to. But these strange children going "OMG I LUV IT!!!! I WANNA BE A VAMPIRE!!! EDWARDWARD IS MINE!!!!!!!1111111111!!!!" just make the series too darn easy to hate.

Aye, fans like that... They just need to be shot. Or grow up. Or both. They're what makes the "fandom" look bad. -.-' And are the reason I didn't read the books for so long.

I'm a fan - and I'm not rabid. The rabid ones scare me as much as they scare you.

It's a shame Twilight's fandom is killing it and putting people off. When I read it, I had no idea how popular it was, to be honest. I'd never even heard of it. I don't read a lot. xD

Well anyway, I love the series. Shamelessly. I think the crazy fans ruin it - but I think the extreme Twilight-bashers often take it too far.

It'd be SO nice if some people could accept the fact that people like it, and some people could accept that other people don't like it.

I'm a fan of Twilight, I like it but I'm not like these fans Oo God, fans like these ruin the series, they look like people who have problems and, as Tibb said, fans like these should be shot xD come on! it's just a book and movie, enjoy them like normal people do

Haha, I can tell by your avatar XD! And I agree with you 100 % :wink:

. Jasper is AWESOME, especially in the books, definetly one of the most interesting characters in the series. Though, trtuh be told, I love all the main characters, esepcially Edward, Alice, Carlise, and Jacob, and Jasper is my favourite, too ^^. The only one I don't like is Rosalie, she's not a very nice person.

Luckily, where I live, there aren't any rabid screaming fans *shudders*- but I can't imagain what some of you have to go through. :shock:

I think it was his backstory (as shown in Eclipse) that drew me to Jasper so much. It was really interesting. I felt bad for him. ]: But I think out of all of the Cullens, Jasper's is the most interesting story. Carlisle is followed really close, though. Talk about irony for him.. x]
