Somewhere in the depths of my mind I knew it was wrong to have him stay after what he'd said....if I wasn't his mate then why keep him in my home? I thought angrily but I knew why I let him stay. Even though it was an impossible and foolish impulse I still loved him. And I knew everyday It would break me because I knew he didn't love me back.

I stirred resltley before I gathered my courage and dragged myself to Steel's sleeping form. "Steel." My voice was flat and hard. I sighed considering turning around and forgotting about it. But I knew I wouldn't function until I heard explanations. "Steele." I barked louder uding his broad flank with my knee.

Cobalt dipped her head, watching two little puppies play. Har eyes crossed as they play-fought, rolling into their mother. she chuckled, wagging her tail.

Emotions of rage bubbled in me and I got ahead of myself rashily "I don't think you should be the one upset after what I heard." realizing what a mistake I'd made I clamped my jaws shut and looked away still flaming.

Cobalt's eyes widened. Was that Steele, screaming? She let out a sharp bark or two, to call to him. she perked an ear. Where were the puppies? Were he and katrina fighting?

Katrina made her body at her full stance her ears irrectic and her tail sishing high dangerousley "Well pardon me for wanting me to care for the one I love! Altough now I see that's a mistake because you wouldn't return the favor!" I huffed my rage flaming through me altorhg at the same instance tears erupted and spalshed to the floor. "If you don't love me you should have gotten rid of me long ago instead of having me die inside now from hearing it accidelnley!Ho long did you think you could let your little chiarde countuine?" I chocked out distraughley my ords laced in pain.

I roared in a ferice growl if this was it it wasn't going to end like this I needed anwsers. I darted down the stairs to where Steel's sister awaited also seeking explantion. "There's a small complication." I hissed wanting her out of the way "Please go check on the pups." I said sternley. After she had disappeared into the small closet I lowerd my voice to a low hiss "Oh really? Then how long have you fallen out of love with me." I said shaking my head to clear my eyes of hazy tears. "How long did you plan to string me along while I handed you my heart?" I let out angrily.
