Ooc//: Ok, I'f Serra doesn't post after a while, lets wait for her

Tear followed Balto in the shadows. UNSEEN by ANYONE. She saw Niara running up to Balto. Niara...You are my friend. I don't want to kill you. But I will if you don't stay out of my way...

Levi decided to get some food from the forest. He liked freshprey. Tonight seemed like a good night to fetch some. He never likes the hard pellets his owners fed him. But it was OK.

Ooc//: I put "Unseen by anyone" because i dont want anyone to see her

Tear was still smirking as she saw how miserable Balto was. She stopped, the snow was beginning to fall hard. What is happening to me? This is wrong, why did I frame Balto? Or even try to get with him...? Tear's self consious tried to break free of the blackness inside her. But the blackness grew wider everytime Tear tried to think good thoughts. No, I will get you Balto! Tear started to cry. She wanted to escape this demon thing. The only way to stop anymore harm was to run. Run away and never come back...

So she did. She ran right past Balto, her tail touching his cheek. Tear growled and the blackness once again grew larger. Her stomach throbbed but she kept running. She now knew she had run a couple of miles into the forest. She fell, her stomach unable to hold her fox pups any longer. "No! Not now! AHHHHHHH" She wailed.

LEvi heard the cry and ran towards it. He saw Tear and shreiked. Turning around, he ran back to nome, stopping by Niarra. "N..Niarra! Come quick! Tear's in labor!" He barked as he turned and ran back towards the sound of a wailing fox.

Ooc//: Ok, for some reason, Tear is having the fox pups the day after. But lets say that fox's in this RP are like that...Lol

Balto was startled as a tail tip as white as the snow falling around him slid across his cheek. But then a few minutes later he heard an awful cry that immediately made him break into a sprint, runnning towards the source of the sound. Luckily he didn't meet Levi, although he heard the sound of someone runnig past him. Soon he was deep into the forest, and by some miracle, since the snow was now falling thick and fast, he found Tear lying on the ground- clearly in agony. The pups!.... He thought to himself. My pups?... he thought, but then shook himself. Of course not! The fact that everyone had believed her almost turned Balto into beliveing it himself. But that was ridiculous. He knelt down beside Tear, trying desperately to remeber what Doc had said when Jenna was giving birth to her pups.

"Tear! Don't panic...it's me, Balto. Just keep breathing. In and out, In and out." He said, putting all that she'd done to him aside- he was just concerned with saving her life and the puppies'. Then he got up and saw to his horror that the snow was swiftly turning into a blizzard, and he couldn't do this on his own. He needed help, which he called in the only way he knew how to....he threw back his head and howled. A deep, eerie yet strangely beautiful sound escaped from deep within his lungs and sang out across the air. He only prayed that someone or somepeople had heard it.

Tear watched as Balto ran to her. You've come my love! she wailed in her thoughts. When balto howled she felt that some of her belly wait was lifted. She turned her head and saw one of her fox pups crouching in the snow. She also didn't take notice to who or what was near her.She reached for it. Now she held two and her stomach stopped throbbing. She let her head rest in the snow and used her tail to keep her babies warm. She looked down at them and saw that only one of them was shivering. "No!" She wailed as she scoped up her baby. It was gone. She only had one left and pulled it close to her. Please, stay with me. She prayed. Her looked down and saw a puddle of blood surrounding her. She felt weak and the bleeding didn't stop.

She opened her eyes and looked at Niarra. "N...iarra...watch h...her" She managed to gasp

Ooc//: Her fox pup looks like this

Once she gets older in the rp, i'll make her bio. But her name is Amber. And it looks just like Tear and Balto. Amber's destiny in the rp is to find out who her REAL father is. And see if Tear was right or wrong.

Tear smiled and the blackness once grew larger. She winced in pain. No, I cant live like this! she thought. She felt somthing stop inside her. Then her head fell to the ground. Tear left behind a wailing fox pup and her best friend. But all for a good cause

Balto stared at the morbid sight infront of him. "She's.....gone. She's really gone." He whispered to himself, tasting the cold reality. He heard the single remaining pup whimpering and snuffling, pushing its tiny nose into her blood-soaked fur. The poor little thing was too young to know that it's mum had gone....was on the other side of life, had passed out of this world. It was trying desperately to get some warmth from her cooling body. It was the only thing left that they had to remind them of Tear...and Balto watched as Niara pulled the precious thing towards her and him, and he wrapped his paw protectively around the tiny furry angel. He put his other paw comfortingly on Niara's shoulder.

"I'm s...so....sorry.." He choked, and a single tear dripped down his cheek.



After what seemed like an eternity, he gave the little pup to Niara to carry back, and grimly he picked the dead puppy in his mouth and slung Tear's delicate body over his back. He said gruffly to Levi- "Call a meeting in the Old Mill, this is urgent." ....and he began a sad, mournful journey back to Nome with the others.


P.S. Does Balto get an apology now, as people see that it couldn't have been his puppies? And since Tear's dead ? But Balto and Jenna still feel it is their responisbility to take care of the pup, or Balto and Niara?

Ooc//: I had this idea where the pup would grow beliving that Niarra was her mother. And when she finds out that Balto was belived to be her father and comitted a crime against it. She would try and find a witness. Who comes later. So still everyone thinks it is Balto's pup since it looks a lot like him.

The little pup looked up at Niarra and Balto. Her little mind was lost and she nuzzled the cold, flame colored pelt of her mother. Whimpering, she was picked up and carried to Nome.

Levi sighed and lead the way back.
