May walked beside Jacob and Rose. "So where are we taking them?" she asked, giving Rose an uncertain glance. Crusher. If he foudn them... She shivered. She didn't want to know waht would happen ot htem.
Jackson barked a laugh. "Okay, okay, so it's true but... There has to be a way."

"First to my safe house then to Sleepy Hallow." said Jacob, making sure they weren't overheard. "Humans are superstious now that they know some creatures they thought were myths are real, 'hunted' places like Sleepy Hallow are abandoned by humans and they won't come close to them." he said. "And if a golem finds us, I'll use this baby." he said, pulling out a large granade rifle. "It can defeat most golems but I wouldn't push my luck using it on that monster Darkcrusher."

'Sleepy Hallow, i've been there, a bit boring really' Katie said, she was still cross with what they had said about the male bloodwolf. She didn't make eye contact with anybody though, she was a little nervous of being with humans.

Rose...run...Crusher coming. said the voice in Rose's mind again, sure enough the foot falls of a golem were heard coming there way, forcently Golems were slow unless treveling through rock. Get into the woods...not all rock for him to trevel through.
"That was before Jarret Connor's got there." said Jacob. "He's my boss and the Kingpin of our ring, most just call him the Horseman because he disguises himself as the Headless Horseman to keep humans thinking a myth is fact." he said. "Quite effective really and he's good at his job, the place is actuelly a utopia for most creatures now, the witches have even managed to summon a few golems to act as double agents for us." he said, then heard the foot falls of a golem. "Golems! Oh crap, we're on soild rock, if they figure out were we are, they'll be all over us."

Katie suddenly grew very attentive. A golem she thought, this could be fun, but not in the city, it's too dangerous. 'Come on, this way' she said, running down a back street.

"Wait!" Rose shouted as soon as Katie started running. She still wasn't sure how much she trusted this voice (it was never a good thing to hear voices others couldn't) but in this sudden panic that was coming over, she was willing to do anything. "There's a woods around here. We have to go in there. Crusher won't be able to follow. To little stone." Rose said this in a rush, hoping everyone caught her words. She also hoped desperately that no one would ask her how she knew this. "Does anyone know where it?"
Lily was able to crack a small smile, something she hadn't down in so long. "Why don't we just go look around. Maybe we'll get lucky."

"Yeah I think I do." said Jacob, leading the way into the forest. "Wait, everyone be quiet." he said. "I think they might of flanked us." he whispered.
Crusher tore through the woods to their right. "Gotcha." he said but was then shocked to see Rose and her sister. "Rose, May, what are you doing with theses freaks?!" he yelled. "Come stand beside me this instent."
Stall him Rose! said the voice. Coming to help you. it said. The rocks behind Crusher began shaking slightly but he didn't notice.

Rose swallowed the nervous lump that had formed in her throat. "Just let us explain first, Crusher," she said, not even questioning the voice in her head anymore and just listening to it. She had no idea what explanation she was going to come up with, but she had to think it up quick.
Lily followed Jackson, pulling at the edges of her jacket.

"The only explaination I can think of is that you were kidnaped." said Crusher. "Which isn't the case as you aren't bond in any way."
Suddenly the rocks burst from the ground and circled in the air, taking a form of a massive mose covered golem, equal in size to Crusher. Taking him by surpise, he grabbed Crusher and punched he over and over again before throwing him back through a row of trees and stomping on his chest, disasembling him. The new Golem looked to the group. "I am Monolith." he said.
"Wait the witches used that name." said JAcob. "They called him the restorer of ballence."
"Witch is a degrading term, refering to a black magic wielder." said Monolith. "I prefer Shamen, Druid, or Wicken, because their power comes from their aura, not dark magic...that's just personal prefrence really but I am indeed who they speak of."

"But your a golem," Rose said, practically ignoring everything Monolith said. She was still in shock of what he did to Crusher. "You should be working for the High Council. But you just attacked him." She pointed a fingure at the place Crusher was.

Monolith kneeled before Rose. "Golems that are summoned by the Council work for the Council." he said. "The Earth itself summoned me to restore the ballance." he said. "Humans and so called dark creatures lived togather for ceaturies without problem, mostly, but once humans discover them, they're at each others throats." he said. "Doesn't make much sense does it?"
"He's right, the witches predicted he'd be sent to restore the ballance." said Jacob. "They said whenever balence is disrupted, Monolith rises to restore it."
