Joker wrote: Dragon Tamer wrote: I've been asked about my username before, so I'll answer here. To my thinking, dragons are not the inherently evil monsters many cast them as. I concede that they were used as symbols of evil (many have asked how I can be a Christian and be into dragons, which I will incidentally explain), but then so have goats and lions. Does that make goats and lions evil? No. I have spent considerable time around goats, and although they can be extremely trying at times, they are in no way inherently evil. As for lions, pfft. Say that to Aslan's face if you dare. Ergo, I believe that dragons were simply animals (my speaking of them as having existed is no accident, and I believe it to be a scientifically and historically defensible position), no better or worse than any other species. However, like any animal, they tended to become problematic at times. And owing to their extraordinary power, they got into very BIG trouble. Many writers and artists on this site are much the same way: they are extremely gifted, and that kind of gift lends itself to certain abuses. I do not, however, advocate "slaying" (banning) them right off. Instead, if at all possible, I try to encourage whatever "dragons" I encounter to put their skills to better use, hence "Dragon Tamer." That makes 2 of us,I'm also a christian and have loved dragons since I was born. After all,you have to wonder how they became a part of so many cultures(maybe they did exist, maybe they didn't).Plus they were often used as symbols of good(asian dragons) and as power or authority as well as evil. Anyway,I named myself joker because of well, the joker from the Dark Knight since I couldn't decide what else to use as a username. Anyone who considers the ancient Hebrew texts to be valid has to believe in dragons of some kind; just look at Job 41. A fire-breathing reptile described right alongside many anmals we know very well to exist, and spoken of as a real animal itself. And the cultural argment is true too; even the Inuit have dragon stories, and they historically didn't even know what a reptile was! Coincidence? I doubt it. As for your username, I would have been inclined to choose something a bit less morbid. But maybe that's just me.

Well, when I got interested in wolves and Balto, I was (and still kinda am) very into swords and medieval weaponry. A lot of what I dreamed of getting at the time was two swords with a wolf logo etched into each blade. I imagined that I would call these swords, "The Swords of the Wolves." I don't really remember why I wanted to call them that, but it was probably something to do with them being representative of the fighting spirit of wolves, or something to do with defending them. But, when I thought of the name, and registered on the site, the name just started to sound catchy, and I liked it!

Invader_Marshmallow - A while ago, my friend and I would roleplay Invader Zim fan characters on Neopets and stuff. My username there was Invader_Marshmallow and hers' Invader_piggypie. After that, the name kind of stuck and it is my username for a lot of stuff. Flip - This is seriously just from asking a group of people what my online name should be and they suggested it. Now it is also the name of my fursona. Flip_Raccoon - My online name and the species of my fursona

Well, I'm a fan of Apple products, such as the iPod and iMac, and wolves are my favorite animal, so I thought I would be "iWolf", and I added the "231" because I just like that number combo and so I always add it to the end of my usernames.

Perhaps making a signature might be the go. Hmm... *ponders* If that is the case, perhaps I could make you a signature? If you want a link to my graphics request topic, just tell me. ;] Hmm... But I don't know what pictures I want or how I want it. But I do know where your topic is. Lol.
