Ringo smiled, shaking his head. He rested his head ontop of Shy's, taking in measured breaths. It was not in Ringo's nature to be romantic, a leader, or even a socable Blood wolf. But Shy seemed to bring out the best in him..........even though there was something that bothered him. Whenever he was near her he always felt a strange surge of unexplainable guilt, but also another strange urge. He could feel her body heat, her warm fur against his. He could see her slender neck, and tried to avoid her gaze. Ringo's eyes glazed over for a moment, as he thought about warm, red blood trickling down his maw. He slightly lifted his lip, his fangs hovering over Shy's neck. He was about to give into the Unforgivable Act, when he heard her say, "Thank you Ringo....." He closed his maw tight, blinking rapidly to get back to normal. ".....You're welcome Shy....." he said softly, pulling his head back to look at her. He sighed, standing up and knowing he couldn't be to close to her.....if he didn't want to accidentally hurt her. "Kiska's not so bad once you get past the-" he paused, thinking it over, "Well actually, there isn't really much good in him." he whispered in Shy's ear, chuckling.

Shy giggled in secret along with Ringo. She enjoyed being so close to him. But something deep inside told her to be careful. But she shook the thought as quickly as it apeared. She flicked her tail along the bottom of his jaw and smirked. Even though she was tired she began to feel as though she was a pup again. She spanked the ground with her front paws and ran farther back into the cave. She turned around to make sure Ringo was fallowing. "C'mon slowpoke!" she giggled.

Shy looked back to see Kiska snarl and smirked. "He's like my dad in a way" she mentioned to Ringo, "old and grumpy." She giggled under her breath and pawed at Ringos ear playfully.

She could hear Ringo and Kiska mutter behind her and stopped momentarily to try and hear what they were saying. But she soon lost interest. She loked back at Ringo with a big grin on her face. She remembered how when she had first met him this mornig that it seemed almost impossible that he could even smile. Now she was falling in love with him! She cought herself staring off into his eyes and quickly shook off the trance.

Shy watched Ringo walk over to Kiska. It was then that she remembered how late it was. Sha padded up to Ringo and whispered. "I think I should gets some sleep..." she licked him on the cheek right in front of kiska. She yawned and slowly padded over to the rock were she had recently been. She then layed her head on her paws and slowly fell asleep. But the last thing she saw before drifting into unconciousness was Ringo.

Shy Imediantly saw Ringo walking over to her, a worried and anxiouse glance on his face. When she heard him ask if she was ok she sighed. "I think so... I just had a nightmare that's all..." She shook her head trying to get the terrifying image out of her mind. She got up slowly and looked into Ringo's eyes. He did look worried but about what? She looked around and noticed that Zero was not in the cave. "Were did Zero go?". She then put together that that was the reason why Ringo was worried.

Ringo's face dropped from the snarl, completely blank. He was quiet for a minute, sspense buliding up. He was pondering the breaks in Zero's voice as she spoke, but could not be sure of her true emotions as he could not see her eyes. When he finally spoke his voice was quiet and suttle, but traces of dignity were apparent in it. "I do." He said. He gave a small snort of a laugh. "Not that it'll do either of us much good. I can only hurt Shy..." He said distantly, gazing off into the dark forest ahead of him.

Zero couldn't help but let a slight smile leak through her snarl as she felt Ringo crack. She angled her head slightly, let the smile drop and glared at Ringo. But hurt filled her eyes as Ringo said 'I do'. She couldn't help but let her jaw drop slightly. She didn't think he would actually say that he did love her. She quickly snapped her jaw shut and glared at him "are you blind?" she hissed, narrowing her orange eyes. "Who cares if you 'could hurt her'," she said mockingly, she was starting to get angry. One because Ringo was to blind to see her feelings for him, and Two because of Shy. "If you love her enough don't you think you would be strong enough to control your emotions and urges?" Her voice started to raise and the image of Ringo began getting blury. She blinked to shut back the tears but a single droplet of water leaked through.

"If I am taking advantage of you 'obvious weakness' why don't you do something about it?" Zero asked, getting angry that her plan wasn't working the way she wanted it to go. Zero narrowed her eyes in disbelief "how am I questioning your honor? If you love Shy that much don't you think you could contain yourself not to kill her?" Zero said loudly, not caring if Shy was awake or not. She was suddenly worried by Ringo's change of emotion. She drew up her front paw and gave him a puzzled look. She narrowed her eyes as Ringo dashed off into the cave. Suddenly she started to panic. He found out didn't...oh no...he knows... She frowned and swallowed, glancing at Kiska. She waited for Ringo to come out. If he would come out again...

Shy couldn't sleep any more. She knew something wrong was happening. She slowly opened her eyes to see Zero standing in the entrance, a battered look on her face. Kiska was a few feet away. But were was Ringo? She got up ever so slowly and gave herself a good shake. She padded quietly torwards Zero, "Were is Ringo?" She figured maybe they had some sort of system were they all took shifts, portoling the territory but she didn't know for sure. She could plainly see the small streak that lonely tear had made on her cheek and another questiooon surfaced. "What's wrong?".

Ringo had wandered wandred aimlessly until he padded into a clearing, where he sat down and stared at the dirt. ...I can't...one of us has to... Ringo would never admit it but he did care for Zero, but not nearly as close as the way he did with Shy. He squeezed his eyes shut. One of us has to drop this before it goes too far, and it is not going to be me. He thought firmly,puffing out his chest. It was completely unlike Ringo to wander off, to chicken out. But Zero had truely scared him back there, and he wasn't sure he could face that again. " But if I don't go back... he thought, i'll...I'll never see Shy again... He growled at the thought and shook his head. Of course I'm going back! He set his determined red eyes ahead of him and started heading back to the Medren territory. He snickered, his old self again. Besides...who am I to let a scrawny little wolf scare me away from my own pack?

Shy looked at the ground and caught a fient wif of Ringo. Almost like she forgot about Zero she ran off in the direction of his scent. She had to know what was going on. (sorry about the short post I dont know what else to say).

"Why do you think I care where Ringo is?" Zero nearly shouted at Shy. She was turned away from Shy but whipped her face around so only the black half of her fur was shown on her face but the rest of her body was on the white side of her fur, making her look very evil and her orange eyes reflected how angry she was. She caught the wiff of Ringo as soon as Shy did and she watched and Shy dashed past her. Her orange eyes widened as she relized what she had to do. She narrowed her eyes coldly and jumped up, tearing after Shy. She quickly and easily caught up to her and tackled her to the ground. "You'd better stay on the ground if you know whats best for you..." she snarled quietly and raised her head to welcome Ringo.

Ringo stopped abruptly as Shy and Zero tumbled out of the bushes in front of him. As soon as Zero looked up at him, her body pinning Shy to the ground, a feirce snarl ripped through his lungs and made his lips tremble ferociousy. His legs tingled with rage as he tactically thrust his body into Zero's, so much force being exerted that his own breath was knocked out of him. He rolled a foot and bounded back up on his widely spread four legs as he watched Zero tumbel a few more feet. "You will not lay a paw on her!" he roared. His eyes were small and frightening. Where small, smoldering embers had once been now burned a massive flame in each of his eyes. He placed himself decidedly in front of Shy, not wanting to face her and frighten her.

Zero's breath left her body in a huge wooshing choke as Ringo smashed his entire brute strength into her. She flew off of Shy and landed hard on the ground, skidding a few more feet. She coughed and wheezed, trying to get her breath back, making small clouds of dust fly with every labored breath. She slowly got to her feet and let out a slight chuckle, shoving all her emotions aside, just like her plan told her to. "Y-you choose..wisely...Ringo..." Zero wheeze and puffed out her chest slightly. Her orange eyes hardened as she spoke "Now...please do the honor of taking my wretched, miserable, life from me..."
