Dustin had fell back,Tumbled,and tried to go back into a full gallop,which did'nt work too well,when his paw slipped out from under him and broke when he landed on it.Am'I dead?He asked himself,unconsious.He felt a searing pain in the back of his mind,and woke himself up.He'd passed out from the pain!Darnit!His blue eyes opened haziliy,and he pulled to his paws,holding his broke one in the air,he started running,taking short breaks,He finally smelled firmiliar fur,and he smiled,walking the rest of the way.He put his paw down and limped over to the camp,careful to watch for Storm.Dustin's ears lifted,and his paw raised.He sniffed the air.Sonya!He grinned and limped over to her from the other side.He pinnedh is ears when he saw Duke,and raised his tail in a Alphalike way,walking over."Hey,Sonya."His hurt paw was still in the air.

Duke looked at Dustin in surprise. "You all right?"

Juana walked over to the dogs who had run with the teams. "You're not supposed to be here," she said sternly but then she smiled. "Aw whatever. i don't really care. It's Storm you shouldn't cross paths with. How do you like running with the team?"

He drew his lips back and bared his teeth,a white flash.This was not comfortable.He darted his eyes around,and whined lowly,but it was mixed with a growl."I'mfine."He said quickly.He looked at Juana."I dont run for the team."He muttered.

Cooper stared after Leah. Circomstances? Yeah right! Circomstances had nothign to do with anything! Either dogs were friends or they weren't. He flet like the fullness of his heart was draining quickly. Then he looked up and saw Fiata, his heart sudennly filling up again. Maybe he had a new friend? Leah was still his friend but it was great to have other friends. Was that it? Was he just glad to have a new friend or did he feel something more for the pretty dog. I just met her! his mind cried. But it seemed that once was enough. He felt, as he looked at her, that he could do anything. That he could get through anything. Feeling better, Cooper began to dig up a place to sleep.

Juana nodded. "I said run with not for," she told Dustin. "I hope to see you running tomorrow."

"I think you will," Duke said slowly. He looked at Dustin. "Okay, look. What on Earth did I do? For running's sake, do you ever trust anyone?" His anger had gotten hold on him. "Sorry," he said. "I didn't mean it."

Dustin's eyes glazed."Uh-huh...sure.."He yawned."Im tired..."He leaned on Sonya and fell asleep.

Duke frowned aaat Dustin's wounds. "However, I did not think about how we treat him. Maybe we should actually take him to the musher. I haven't got a clue!"

Juana had walked away aaz while ago and now she was digging a hole to sleep in.
