Mar woke up to find Luke gone. She raced out of the cave, hating to be alone, and sat next to him outside.
"A magical lake?" Midnight asked, joining the conversation. "I'm sorry Kira, but the pack isn't going after some fantasy." He turned to Wanderer, Luke, and Mara. "You shouldn't believe such tales."

Winterfall growled softly. "Who are you to make that decision?" he demanded.

Kira smiled back at Wanderer. Somehow, she was getting the strangest feeling within her. Maybe, is it love? she asked herself, sighing heavily. But, I still haven't told him my secret. How's he going to take it?

Mara looked up at Luke and then at her father. "I think it's a good idea to just check it out. Please, dad."
"be quiet, Mara," he sushed her. He looked at Winterfall. "I will make the decesions because I said so." He glared at Winter. "My mate and I have the most right to be alphas. Why? Would you fight for the title?" He growled, bearing his teeth.

Midnight looked around him. He was outnumbered. "fine," he spat with venom. "But don't expect me to listen to him." He turned and walked away.
"You did the right thing," flower said, trying to comfort. He ignored her and went into the den.
Mara smiled at Wanderer. She had never met another wolf above her dad before. "So.. are we going hunting or not?" she started waging her tail.

Luke let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness." he said. He went over Winterfall. "Is everything going to be alright? I don't want a fight to happen, fighting is so pointless, what does it solve?" he asked.

"Wow," sighed Wanderer. "this will be hard." He turned ot Mara. "Sure, we can but not alone. Let's take enyone who wants to go."
Winterfall brightened a bit. "I'd love going," Winterfall agreed.
"i'll stay here," yunfly said. "I hope Nikki joins us..."

Kira just sighed and shook her head. "Well, of course I'm going," she said. "I'm actually a pretty good hunter. How do you think I've managed to survive out here on my own?" She then sort of smiled before she sighed, wondering if she should tell Wanderer her secret now or later....
