I aggree.Mods have lives just like everyone else! Some poeple have grugdes against them because they are"higher up" and have more power.Whe should be glad that steet has put people he trusts(As much as a person can be trusted over the internet)and has let them take some of the responsibility instead of doing it all himself. If you are jealous that your not a mod and take it out on poeple who are,let me tell you that they have hard jobs and reputations to live up to.They have to ban there friends if they brake the rules, they have to decide who has gone over the line of rulebraking. They have more responsibility than you ungreatful lazy slobs, who are always screaming at them, would know what to do with!Be content! At least we have a balto and lion king source.Steet didnt have to put this up.Be content with what you got.

Are you kidding?Mods never ban their friends. They ban only their enemies. What a nice joke..

Believe me,their friends break the rules all thei time and they never remark or ban them.if you want to know who does it then send me a private message.
I agree with shaggystar to an extent, about the responsibility in this job. It's hard, one has to decide and draw the line, and make decisions that would be the best for the community but might result in bad things for the moderator themselves.
One cannot judge a whole group by one person. That's irresponsible and brings no good for the accuser and the accused.
As to goldkitty:
They never ban their friends? Well true, I suppose one couldn't call them friends since most of them turn around and hate the "friend" or "mod" that banned them. What kind of friendship is that?
Certainly some might be influenced by relationships, but how many people are there who don't face this kind of dilemma?
There are good moderators who do their job the way should, no matter what the circumstances.
And I agree with Wolflux. The topic has slid off into uselessness.
