Kira's words pelted her like rocks. She heard them easily from where she was, and she could tell her sister's voice was choked with tears. A wave of emotion swept over Sara, it was true, her sister still loved her as her favourite of the family, but she wanted no more to do with Sara even though they'd only just met up again. She sank to the floor, feeling stunned and weak. She heard paws galloping away in the distance as Kira knew her sister had let her leave the territory. Sara didn't know what to do, or what to think, or if she should regret anything. All she could do now was go home. Maybe she and Kira would meet up again some day, she really hoped so. And they could just behave normally.

As she was walking back, she felt rage take hold of her, and she snarled into the darkness. Why had Kira avoided her anyway? What was wrong with her? Hadn't they always been close? Why was Zeph hanging around with her? Why did she want to trust him more than Sara? Hadn't she also wanted to help with Kira's problems? She stormed forwards, the black tip of her tail flashing. The distraction had spolied all her chances of meeting her sister after all this time. If she ran into Zeph, which was likely,... she might just kill him.

Zeph finally caught his breath, and heaved himself to his paws. Kira might be angry with him if he didn't catch up...either way, she probably didn't want to see him again because Sara had found her.

The black/white wolf shook dirt and leaves from his pelt, still weak in the paws. However he limped out of the clearing and after Kira.

Sara, through the darkness saw a movement ahead of her. Her instinct snapped in and she knew exactly who it was. She moved like a flash of white lightning and pounced on it, snarling.Without thinking she latched her jaws around Zeph's throat.

"You....spolit......everything...." She hissed, her breath hot and heavy with the desire for revenge. She prepared to tighten her grip and found herself staring right into Zeph's fearful eyes, and suddenly she felt guilty. What was she doing??? Slowly, slowly, she loosened her grip and clambered off of Zeph. She couldn't say anything, but she tore her eyes away from the red slashes across his throat where she'd bitten him. What had she done?

"I'm sorry...." she whispered, her throat choked with sadness.
Her blue eyes filled with tears and she fled, crying.

When Sara had lept snarling, confusion and fear entered his mind, but also anger. How dare she? Trying to gain control over himself, he sank his claws to the ground while he watched her run away.

Zeph ignored the blood running down his throat, then turned and kept walking onward. I mustn't loose control...they can't find out.

Kira sort of sighed in relief again, but as she looked abck, she suddenly felt the same feeling from long ago. Lonliness... Sometimes it can kill a wolf in one swifft motion. Kira just turned away once more, slowly padding forward into the trees.

Bic:// Just then, a dark aura started to flow within her mind. Kira slightly growled as she realized that her new friend was finally home. "Wolfbane..."

"Hello, child," the black demon replied from within her head. "That was quite an act you put up. A job well done!"

"That was no act!" Kira said. "I wanted to get away because I fear for everybody's safety. And besides...I never wanted to look back on the past."

"Ah, but you did," Wolfbane reminded her. "You nearly did, anyway...."

Kita had decided to go back to camp when her sister ran away, but she saw what Sara had run after. The oawprints were fresh, and Kita tried to ignore the instinct to follow them. She turned toward camo, fully prepared to walk in that direction. Then, with one swift movement, she changed dirctions completely and speed down the path the paw prints had made.

Kita passed her sister. "Sara!" she called after her, but Sara kept running. Kita wanted to go and comfort her little sister, but something inside her made Kita realized, at last, who she was tracking. The smell was one she hadn't smelt in a long while, but it was as clear as the morning sun: Kira!

Running faster than ever, Kita was determined to find her long lost sister, but she stumbled upon a black and white wolf instead. Kita growled at the dog. He was a stranger and in her pack's territory. She got close to the ground and walked toward him. When was a few feet away, she stood up to full height and yelled at him. "Get out of here, stranger! This is not your land!"

Fiata was confused with all that had happened. She was greatful when she found Scout. "Where'd Kira and Zeph go?" she asked.

Zeph whipped around, ears pricked at something. Shaking his head in disreguard, he kept on. He hoped Kira wasn't too far...his paws were tiring out. Just when he caught the scent of her, another wolf had snapped at him from behind.

He turned around and spotted Kita, his green eyes starting to narrow. Zeph curled his lip, revealing gleaming white fangs when she told him to leave. Great...one day out here and he already had enemies trying to chase him off.

Sinking his claws into the ground, his hackles rose and neck fur bristled in warning, "Excuse me?"

"I said this is not your land," Kita said calmly. "And get out." She walked closer to him and growled a little. "I want you gone and away from my pack." Kita began to circle the wolf. She stopped directly in front of him and whispered, "I don't see you leaving."

Suddenly, Kira bursted out of the bushes and snalred at Kita. "Leave him alone!" she demanded, her eyes slowly turning a glowing red. "Can't you see what's happening? Have you guys totally forgotten what I had done to Star and David? I killed them, and I don't wish to go back! Not now, not ever!!"

Scout padded to Kira's side. "Leave us alone," he growled.

Zeph turned to glance at Kira, but not in suprise. His eyes narrowed, and only she was able to see some sort of understanding in them. Finally he turned back to Kita, neck and back fur bristling slightly.

Sara padded onwards, feeling guilty and sorry. But she was feeling better after an awful day she had had yesterday. It was morining now. She loved mornings- they were so fresh and alive. It wasn't too long before she heard more commotion.Even more trouble? It was probably some pups in her pack fighting over a scrap of meat, she'd sort it out. She sighed and padded over to the clearing. She gasped with what she saw.

Scout, Zeph, Kita, and Kira. What were they all doing? Hadn't Kira left by now? She hoped that the others weren't teasing Kira for being a banished wolf. Then she saw that it was totally opposite...Kira, Scout and Zeph had all ganged up on her older sister. She heard them talking...Scout had now also gone to Kira's side, Sara and him had been one of the few wolves who had voted against the exile. What was happening?
Sara didn't know who to side with...she loved both her sisters. But it was going to far, she had to help.
She jumped down in the midst of them, snarling.
"No, you ALL leave HER ALONE!" She yelled at the three wolves.(ooh, suspense )She gave Scout a scowl, why was he siding with a wolf he didn't know? She stood next to her older sister
"What's going on here?" She asked clearly. There had to be a reason for this. She saw the small slashes across Zeph's throat and narrowed her eyes...he may think he was just an innocent lone wolf passing through a pack's territory, but he seeemed terribly good at starting riots. Well she would get to the bottom of this. She stood, silently waiting for an answer.

Kira sort of glared at Sara before turning back to Zeph and nudged him in reassurance. "Nothing," Kira finally answered. "We were just...leaving." And with that, she nodded her head and started leading the way out of the territory once more, stopping a few times to make sure that the others were catching up. She didn't even bother to look back at her sisters. Not even once....

Zeph held in a growl at Sara when she came into view. The wolf who attacked him for no apparent reason. Instead he curled his lip in disgust, then turned to follow Kira.

Finally he caught up to her side. "Where exactly are we going?"

Scout raced to Kira's side. "Good question. Where are we going?" He smiled. "But it doen't matter, does it? We're just.. going?"
