Well in my ffics I’ve never assumed that, but in one of my stories the history starts still canonical, but a bit sacrilegious for straight Balto-fans. No Steele-Jenna relationship, however…

I really have little to say. If Jenna's in love with Balto, she can't possibly fall for Steele. Unless:
- Balto makes Jenna unhappy
- Steele makes Jenna happy
How? This is up to those who make the stories. But the story has to match with the original, you can't just suddenly make Jenna go crazy "Oh I love Steele now". This won't be her character, this would be another dog in the skin of Jenna. She can go crazy, yes, but this has to make sense, must have a good, reasonable reason.
So, it is actually possible for them to be together.
Or, like in my story, they can have a forced family.

Quite true, I forgot about the fact that people will breed their dogs if they both have desireable qualities. But still, it would be the only way that I could see the two coming together.

Exactly. The trouble is, your fanfic is just about the only one where there is a logical reason (and in yours, she technically didn't fall for Steele). I could go on, but I've already spoken on it.

I know she didn't. And aside from amnesia, it's the only intelligent one I've seen yet with that sort of thing happening.

Well I think that red, white and black aren't such a good mix so most of their pups (IF they, Jenna and Steele, ever have any pups(I hope not)) would maybe not look so good and (plz don't get angry on me) most of the painting of possible Jennas and Steeles pups I have seen (about 80-85%) they look like freaks, clown, strange dogs with magic power for example. Don't take be angry on my if you painted any of Jennas and Steeles pups. Those I have seen have been great pictures but it's the mix of colors and where it put :S

I have said it before, I will say it again: I have never seen, nor expect to see, an even remotely intelligent story about Jenna being drawn to Steele. The plots, event flow, and often the dialogue and thought processes of the characters are devoid of any meaning or originality. The only fanfic that even came close was the one where Jenna agreed to havepups with Steele because Rosie's mother needed the money, and that doesn't count as a Jenna x Steele story because she hated every minute of it, and she still had no attraction whatsoever to him.

I'll keep from making blanket statements until I've read some competent fan fictions. Cat's writing one, so I have no doubt that it's going to have at least some 'intelligence' to it. As to devoid of meaning and lack of originality, these are lofty insults for a man to be hurling, especially when he didn't even think his plot points through and simply rushed his fanfic into publication simply to 'get it done'. That's not writing, that's typing.

That was a one-time deal, bub. Besides, if I followed your advice on my fanfics, I'd obliterate every trace of who my characters really are, just like 99% of the Jenna / Steele fanfics do to Jenna. But if you're looking for a competent one, try reading Beauty Jenna's. It's the only one I've seen on this or any other website (and believe me, I've read truckloads of 'em), and the only one I ever anticipate seeing. Including cat's. As C.S.
