You need the DVD and the program to rip it. If you check this topic with more attention, you'll find the name of many programs to do that. Find one of them.

If you want to add your videos on Zippy, first has to be the maximum size 20MB..and IF you're a member there, you'll need to register.
And if you're not a member 10MB,but joining zv isn't hard and it's more nifty to add more higher qualityed movies then low.
And How to save it?Easy If your music video is entyrly finnished, just Go File--->Save Movie File..then NExt Next till appears something like More options,Or spmething like tha,and you'll manually make the size, like 17 MB 19MB,You'll see.
It's easier then you've expected.

Ok... when I try to import the video to window's movie maker, the file is in .avi format, which is a supported file type for the program, the file includes both video and sound though, and when i try to import it into windows movie maker, it says it could not be imported because of an unspecified error... PLEASE HELP!

Hmm, "unspecified error" is very... unspecifing
I don't know what suggesting you, but trying to change the file format into .wmv. It worked for some problems I've had with the .avi files.

Wrong .avi format. Installing more codecs would just be about 100% useless.
Try changing the .avi to the actual WIN-AVI format that Movie Maker uses- not some XviD or Dixv encoded .avi. Usually RGB-24 full uncompressed works fine. Note: it will take up some space.
If you do not feel like wasting 8GB of space on a movie with uncompressed .avi- try another format at least 100% supported by Windows (as in denominational- not denominational; get it?).
If all else fails, just press buttons until it works...
I get tired of helping people (as this isn't the only place I assist)

I'd recommend using a .wav format like I use. It always works for me, but be warned that the file will be harder to locate on your computer when you try to open it.
I always record the song that I'm using on Audacity and then export it was a .wav file. That's never failed me before.

Try resaving it to a 10 mb file that should do it.
When you save it on windows movie maker it will say: Save for best quality for playback on my computer.
Click the link Just below that that says so more choice and then click the choise of mb and change that to ten and save it.
That should fix your problem.
