Im 16 and I still think its a great movie, my parents don't really care that I like Balto. But then again I would never tell them I go on BS, or any one else. My dad was the one who took me to see the movie back in 95 and liked it, he also ran out with me to get the sequel the day it came out. To answer the qustion, I don't think Balto is just for kids. :D

That's one weird looking teddy cat

I agree with most of you here, Balto is not restricted to anyone, by any nationality nor age, I shared my love to Balto to almost everyone I know, I am not embarrassed, in fact, I'm proud to have Balto as my icon^^

Just remember folks. You'll have plenty of time for beer, sex, insurance, cars, jobs, and adult stuff later. Keep that flame of childhood alive as long as you can, before the pressures of the world crushes it out of you. Love Balto forever.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I first fell in love with Balto when I was 5. I'm 17 now (my b-day was yesturday) and I still love him and his story. My mom knows that I love Balto, and she has made fun of me before because of it, but I don't care because I KNOW that there are other people out that as old as me (and even some that are older) who feel the same way. Don't let anyone ever tell you that he's for kids. Ever.

Hear, hear!
IMO, nothing is "just for kids." I still love what I've always loved, and it makes no difference how old I am.

I wish I had my brother's courage. He openly said to me and our parents that Ratatouille was his favorite movie of the year, and he went to see 300!

Yeah, Balto is a lot less childish than most American animated films, come to think of it.
