I very much enjoyed this movie. I thought it was very nice. I loved how at first Bambi's dad just wanted to give Bambi to another doe, but when it finally came to that, he didn't want to.... That was very nice.

I'm not sure if anybody else has said this before, and sry if they have already , but I read the Bambi book, and when Bambi's mom died he lived with another doe....or something like that; its been awhile since I read the book. But you have to give Disney some credit; they did add some necessary things into the second movie that was in the book that they didn't add in the first one. Like when Bambi hears his 'mother's' voice, but turns out "It was one of mans tricks!" This did happen, except it was supposedly Faline's voice and Bambihad his full antlers when it happened. Plus his dad was shpowing him that it was a trick by leading him through the forest and stopped far away from the source, but just close enough for Bambi to see it was a trick. sry it's so long.

Yeah it's stupid to make a sequal or midqual to a classic like Bambi. It ruins the story and most of the time the characters too. I really don't look forward to any sequals that Disney makes anymore unless it's to a more recent film that leaves the ending open for a sequal.

Ithink it's quite smart to make a sequel to Bambi (and a good one at that.) so that it can tell us what happened during the time lapse.

Bambi II wasn't necessary, and it is a cash in on the original film. But what a cash in! The animation is gorgeous, the characters and backgrounds are true to the original, and the songs were pleasant (even if they are a bit modern).
If Disney had to do a follow-up to Bambi, I'm glad that they did it in this way. Definately Disney's best sequel, along with Lion King II.
