What got you hooked on balto?

I got hooked in Balto when I watched it on theater ^^

Pretty much my sister. she had some wolf quest screencaps on her screensaver, that got me into it. I hid it though tilol one day i said, COme on sister, lets loook for balto 2 screenshots! lol. then i saw balto 1. still havent seen 3 though. need to.

THen i joined this and realeased all of my balto fandom! lol

well i was 5 years old and being a loud mouth brat so my mom toke me to see balto in the theaters just to shut me up and was hooked

Aww, my story isn't as awesome as NewYorkBaltoFan's, XP.

I loved the movie as a kid when it came out, but I didn't really come back to it until a little over a year ago when I was having a nostagia attack. I was really getting into wolves then and unsurprisingly, I ran into this film again and was like "Oh wow! I haven't seen this in ages!" And I hardly remembered any of it when watching it again, XP.

Then I found this forum and all you guys, so it's stuck as a permanent obsession, <3.

I would've LOVED to have seen it in theaters! But now I would've been to young to remember that though... ^^;
I've had the original VHS for forever it seems, so I don't remember what it was like when I watched it the first time.
But I know that I love dogs, wolves, wolfdogs, and the plot and characters were just amazing! And so 'tis why I've always loved it!
I guess even as a child I knew good quality

Oddly enough, it was just this past summer, after having not seen the movie for years... we watched it randomly at a friend's house, and I was so taken with it that I decided to do some research on the film... and now here I am, hooked once again.

i started watching balto when it came out in 1995 just to see if it would be any good and iv been hooked ever since in 2000nd i started to draw and balto was the first the first good pic that i drew after 9/11 i briefly stopped watching it until 2008 and i got back into it again
