Sigh...people need to remember that everyone has there own opinions...seriously, let's just leave it at that some people believe in santa, some don't and move on, it's not that big of an issue...

No... there is a website called "Track Santa," that looks SO convincing!!! But I have proof!!!
Two years ago, I wrote a letter (And this was just so we had proof... my brother and I have had this planned for 3 years), and we asked, "What are the paren'ts' names of the reindeer on your sleigh?"
That time, there was a whole list of names.
Last year, we asked the same thing. The answer was "I'm so sorry, there are so many, I'll have to send a note when I get the time!)
I have more... I'll post them later when I find the notes again.

This person asked if Santa was real, and I told them my opinion, as well as other people, but you don't have to bash them for believing.
Let people believe what they want and everybody is happy. 8D [I wish]
But I have to say that Christmas was better when I still believed in Santa, now, I don't even get excited for Christmas. I don't even wake up at 6:00 on Christmas morning like I used to. XD
Who the heck gets up at 6am on Christmas morning?!... XDDD... I dont get up til at least noon everyday.. >.>.. XD... Man... I just remembered.. @_@.. I will be up by at least 7:30am... Jebus. I will fall asleep watching them open presents. XD...
And... I dont recall ever waking up that early.. it was about 8am when we opened presents.. at least.. until my brother was able to wake up and wake the house. XDD... >.>
Meep. Christmas is still christmas either way. Isn't christmas about Jebus?... How do we get a fat man and the birth of a baby confused? XD... Never got that. :33

Jack we did not get them mixed up, Santa Claus is based on a real person who gave money to a poor name who had three children, who considered selling his children for prostetution, just for money. Hearing this the man placed a sack of gold in their house. Then two more, so the three children could be properly wed. (Thats the short version anyway)
We did not get them mixed up, learn your facts first.

I'm 13, and I still wake up at 5 or 6 AM in the morning. Just because the thought of it being Christmas makes me all excited. Not because some fat guy with a beard and some flying reindeer, one with a phisically impossible retarted nose flies all over the world in one night, delivering presents to children 'all over the world'
I just get excited at the thought of knowing that it's Christmas. I dunno why...I'm not at all religious...and I don't believe in Santa Claus...I just do. Deal with it.
I'm with Jack on this. YAY JACK! *glompz* ^.^ xD

Never got that. :33 If you had read my first major post in this topic, you would have seen me say the following: Quote: It's supposed to be based upon the idea that if you have a good heart, and behave in a kind, friendly, and charitable way towards your fellow man, ol' St. Nick will pay you a visit. Of course, believing in him does help.
That being said...
I did as a kid. I don't now. I know that Santa Claus (or Father Christmas, or whatever other version you believe in) is representative of the spirit of Christmas. He is a symbol. And a fantasy presented to children to brighten their hearts at Christmas time, and to encourage them to the behavior I mentioned in the previous paragraph in order to receive gifts from him. In that respect, Santa Claus represents Christian ideals very well. After all, not only does he mirror the three wise men bringing gifts to Jesus (not "Jebus"), but he also represents the much larger Christian ideal of kindness to one's fellow man...giving of oneself to others out of sheer kindness and charity (which, admittedly, few of us do, because we are so greedy and selfish as a species - Christian or otherwise). I still say you're being far too judgemental on others for this. I don't get what the big freakin' deal is. Daisy~DreamerWolf wrote: I'm not at all religious...and I don't believe in Santa Claus...I just do. Deal with it.
"Deal with it" is not a very nice thing to say. No one has to "deal" with anything if they don't want to. Try not to use such aggressive language.

I hardly think Deal with it is that agressive, a lot of people say it, she could have said "I just don't so shut it". And besides beliveing in Santa Claus when you are 15 is a bit unaturual, and down right weird.

Jack your friendly attitude is very questionable, you seem to say a lot of things without thinking it.
Just because I am a chrisitian does not mean I read the Bible, I think that what most of the Bible says is absaloute rubbish, but I belive in God, and also yes you expressed an opinoin but all you had to say was I belive in him, please don't make fun of me, or I belive in him, end of story, but you chose not you.
To GreyWolf: Maybe you do, doesn't bother me, I have problem when people act like Jack does.

People, please stop this argument. It's about to become a flame war. Also, I've been talking to one of the posters here on a chat system (I will not name who) and that person says that she did not intend to start an argument and she was simply asking a question because she does not know this story of Santa. I will lock this topic if I need to.

I don't believe. -_-.. In anything. XD... And the cute little '8D' faces and such are a HINT.. =]... I am in the best moooooood ever. X33... Yey meeeee. Andddddd.. its just like.. I say what I think. And maybe sometimes my.. meeeep.. is it my head or hands that go faster?.. Something of the sort.
Doesnt matter. No excuse. Anyways...
How about this...? 'SANTA IS REAL! ZOMFG I AM FRIGGIN' A TEEN AND I BELIEVE HE IS REEEEAL! LISTEN TO MEEEEEEE!'... No. Not really. XD.. Let the kiddies believe what they want. 8D.. Its up toooo them. I dont know WHY someone would ask.... Its like.. If you believe in Santa, do so. No one can tell you hes not real if he is real to you. Get the point?.. People who listen to me must be sane anways. :33... Woooooooooy...
Uhhh, I was going somewhere with this......... But I lost my train of thoughts. Applogies...? Uhhh, no. That sure weren't it. Uhhh.. Jebus.. I can't remember for the life of me. I think.. OH yeah.. Duh..
Sooooo.. I heard Santa came from Coke Cola.. or something. They dressed a fat man in a red suit. 8D.. I really liked the story. :33 It sounded so much more convincing. XD.. Anyways... So... Uhhh.. Well. Whatever. Okies. I got it. I have heard better stories of how Santa came to be. :33..
I liked the one about the curse. 8D.. How this greedy dood had a curse put over him, and like.. he would disappear until the 25 of December... and.. then he would take a sack around the world.. :33.. and have to give away all his things.. And soon, he slowly began to enjoy giving. 8D... (Oh, and he got fat once a year or something. XD)... And then.. when all his stuff was gone... the bag magically refilled! 8D.. And then the curse had become a gift. And it was passed down from father to son, and so onnnnn....
I always thought that was koot. :33...
