Fang nodded. "Good, that's good." he said. "Now should we head over there?"

"The nice vets cured the wolves too." said Lena. "They were nice."

Kodi smiled, and shouldered his mate, to make sure she wouldn't fall off his back. "I'm nort taking any chances."

Tai giggled, her tail curling. "Not unless you want to walk back." she joked, giggling again.

Bashkei smiled, and nodded lightly. It would take much more than that to convince him, but he was willing to try.

Kodi smiled, and looked back at Katie, who was smiling at him. Both leaned their heads to press together in a soft nuzzle.

Tai nodded, looking down. She rubbed her head with a paw. "Yea... he wasa way worse on my mind than both of his dogs put together. His eyes were crazy. I wouldn't want to run into him again..." she murmured, shivering lightly.

Bashkei seemed abit surprised at first, but played it off. her rubbed Lena's head gently. "Well, who wouldn't want to have such a pretty girl to come home to?" he asked, not meaning to get an answer.

Katie nodded, giving a half smile. "And you found out you had a sister." she added, nestling her head into her mate's neckfur.

Tai nodded, shaking her head slowly. "At least it's over with now."

Bashkei smiled softly, and nuzzled Lena. "I'm glad." was the only thing he could say in the face of such bravery.

Katie giggled, giving a light nod. "That's right, Jenna was due any day."

Tai blinked, confused. "What will happen to his dogs?" she asked, curious.

Bashkei shrugged, his ears laying flat. "No clue."

Katie smiled wider, her tail wagging. "I've seen how happy you get around pups, and you're a good father and grandfather."

Tai looked saddened, and a bit confused at the same time. "That's terrible..."

Bashkei chuckled, thinking. "a lot like your brother Kai." he leaned in closed. "But with a thicker skull." he joked, grinning

Katie smiled, sympathizing with Balto. "I can kind of know where you're coming from. I was very close to Papa... this past year has been terrible."

Tai nodded." I know. but, you know, Fang, no matter how bad they are, I hope they can be reformed."

bashkei chuckled, nodding. "it's possible. i was a real hard head."

Katie nodded, seeing the dilemma. "This little escapade has only brought you so far..."

Tai smiled, blushing a little bit as she looked at Fang, before turning away.

Bashkei smiled, remembering his Mother clearly. "My mother was meant for the task. She raised two pups, and both of us turned out great."
