"He's a nice dog." said Aleu. "Very kind." she said, happy that it proved they were with the right Scout. "We've known him sense we were pups...I haven't heard his name in awhile, my grandmother was a wolf and I'm now leading a pack." she said. "They held my grandmother highly, the alpha Nava I think knew her." she said, playing dumb at knowing Scout was her grandfather.
OOC: Can Scout remember Nava? Like he was a good friend of Aniu?

"Nava?" Scout said, contamplating the name. He was a little wary of the siblings when he remebered the name. He narrowed his eyes at the younger dogs. "What exactly is it that you want?" he asked, the friendliness in his tone gone.

Aleu sighed. "Alright, we were trying not to be too sudden so not to freak you out." she said. "Our grandmother...was Aniu." she said. "Our father Balto survived, he's your son." she said. "He's living in Nome...according to Doc, he arrived a few weeks after you left Nome..."

"Hold on." said Aleu. She ran back to the sled dog house and retrieved an old news clipping of Balto from the Sirum Run. She put it on the ground in front of Scout. She pointed to Balto. "Yes Doc told us you were our grandfather but our dad told us Aniu was his mother." she said. "This is our father Balto." she said, pointing to Balto, who as Kodi had thought, a spitting image of Scout.

"Its our papa's birthday." said Ana. "We thought knowing your alive would be a good present Mr. Scout." she said.
"Papa's just like you, he doesn't know if you're alive or not." said Aleu. "All he has left of his parents are memories, we thought it would make him and maybe you happy to know each other is alive." she said. "We didn't want to mess up your life, just tell you your son is still alive...And so we can tell papa you're still alive..."
Making sure no one saw, glared at Dani, telling her to shut her mouth but returned to her kind expression. "I think its cool, we've got a big brother...maybe." she said.

"Its definately interesting," Sara said, glaring at Danielle from the corner of her eye so no one else could see.
Danielle looked to the ground and tucked her tail between her legs under her sisters' glares.
Scout looked over the pups. The only ones that slightly resemble Aniu was the little white one, but she had a red stripe on her back, and the wolfish one, who, along, with the whitest one, had Aniu's eyes. But his sun didn't look a thing like her. For a second, he wished that his daughter, the one who look like a copy of Aniu, had made it out alive instead if the mutt. "Well, you can go back to your father and tell him that yes, I am still alive," he said in an uncaring tone.

"Thank you." said Aleu, noting the uncaring tone. "Our mother was a red husky, that's why most of us look like that, more dog than wolf." she said. "Nava's still alive as well." she said. "I didn't tell my siblings this but Nava knows what happened to Aniu...she died protecting her litter from a hunter." she said. "Aniu told him with her last breath to make sure her pups survived and to tell you she was sorry...He didn't tell me what happened to the other pup but he told me he helpped my father get to Nome."

"It doesn't matter how it happened," Scout said, getting up and pacing the length of the porch. "All that matters is that it did. And just when I finally start forgetting her, you lot show up here just to remind me again."
"What is your problem?" Kodi said sternly, not meaning for it to slip out. But it got Scout to stop pacing and look Kodi i the eye, so he want with it. "We came here to see if you wanted to meet your only surviving son. Aniu's only surviving son. We did this so you and Dad would be happy. What is so wrong about that?"
Scout looked at Kodi with hard eyes. "No matter what I do, no matter what you say, it won't replace the hole in my heart from that," he said sternly. "But now, I have a new life. i better life. So why don't you pups just leave me alone!" He turned tail, and stomped inside the house.

Scouts outburst caused Ana to burst into tears and start crying loudly.
Aleu sighed, feel bad about this whole thing but also angry...they'd came all this way and been yelled at by their grandfather, they couldn't blaim Ana for crying.
A Raven stood on the rafters of the house watching Scout, having a strange pressence. It squaked. I'm sorry Scout...I'm sorry I can't tell you how much I miss you. Aniu thought, a tear fell from the Raven's eye.

"Shh, Ana," Rose said, nuzzling her sister comfortingly.
Maria glared at the door that Scout had disappeared into. "Aleu?" she asked, looking up at her sister. "Why is he so mad?"
Scout ran up the steps and into one of the bredrooms. He looked out the window, thinking. He had heard from Doc about the spirit of Aniu. Wll, if there was such a thing, how come she never appeared to him? He meant nothing to her, obviously.
