"Nell!" Dexter called out and quickly nudged her. "Oh no! Nell...Nelli! G-get up!" The black dog whimpered more and walked around her. What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? he thought.

Leroux returned to the den carrying a dish of dog food his owner had given him, but Leroux wanted to let Olivia and Clio eat it instead. Looking in the entrance, he saw his mate and pup sleeping.

Back at the Tramp's house, Bruce had walked past Scamp's sisters and tried to squeeze back under the fence...but he couldn't. Bruce scowled and hoped that Scamp's owners wouldn't try to throw him out.

Carefully, the pup's dad walked over to the newborn and nudged him. It didn't cry again and was very still. Tears filled up Dexter's eyes and he looked at Nelli for answers.

Meanwhile, Oakly was at his mate's house, but instead of being inside with her, Kandas' younger brother was forced outside. "How come they're not letting me in?" he said to himself. "Cross is having puppies and I'm their father so I should be in there to see them!"

The black dog whimpered sadly as another one of his pups died right in front of them.

Oakly growled to himself and kept pacing back and forth on front of Cross' house.
