Sage watch as he sauntered off with his friend. Both shock and happiness flowed through her. She looked at the varsity jacket he had put on her, still not quite believing it was true. She was a short bubbly geeky girl who most people avoided or picked on unmercifully. She reached in the pocket and pulled out his number, reading it and creasing it carefully before returning it to her pocket, shutting her locker and going to her class.

Campbell was down the steps and towards the parking lot, Savannah following with a big, goofy smile across her face. Campbell had a smirk grow upon his face as well and they kept walking till they passed The Dot, A get together for teens. They walked in and got pizza and a soda before heading out and eating along their way to the mall. They finally made it after a quarter mile walk through the light sprinkles of rain and he walked inside, feeling a totally different climate change. He kept walking and Savannah skipped into Wet Seal to get her usual clothes. He went down to the usual place guys go and he searched through clothes he liked.

Sage listened quietly as she sat in class, most kids used this time to go to the mall and hang out, but she was a known overachiever so she did her math silently.

Savannah came out of the store with two bags that were overflowing with shoes, clothes, hand bags, and jewelery. She smirked and saw Forever 21 before screaming loudly and running off. She picked up tank tops, short shirts, super skinny jeans, and a lot of other things before coming out with four other bags overflowing as well. She was panting and she ran off before seeing a Victoria's Secret store. She came back with three bags as well with piled perfume, body mist, and other things. She decided that was enough until she saw a shoe place, a perfume place, and Dairy Queen. She eeped before running off and getting five pairs of shoes for Star, four pairs for herself, a big box of perfume, and one for her sister, then she walked to Dairy Queen.

Campbell slowly walked out of the store with three bags, spending most of his allouance on clothes and shoes. He saw Savannah walking into Dairy Queen as she dragged her bags behind her slowly. He started to pace after her and met up with her as she ordered a cookies and cream hot fudge sunday, Campbell ordering the same. They got a Chocolate Mint ice cream for Star and they walked away slowly, seeing Star carrying two bags behind her. They beat them to the mall! The three walked towards the sister's home and they came inside. Campbell saw snow falling down as Mrs. Anderson cooked some home made chicken noodle soup from cratch. They threw away their empty containers of ice cream and walked upstairs to Star's room. They all sat down and did their homework for a while before Campbell having to help the girls put their old old clothes to the donation box and put in the new clothes in their walk in closet along with their shoes. They put the out of season clothes into the drawers and smaller closet they had as well in the room. They walked downstairs when Mr. Anderson asked if they could fix the house. They all laughed and put on music as they cleaned the big house. Mrs. Anderson laughed and once they were finished, she asked them if they could go shopping for some Angel Hair Spagetti, Meat Sauce from the local Pizza Place, Peperonni Pizza, marshmallows, and some hot chocolate powder. Savannah wrote that down before they went towards the market.

Sage eventually got bored, so she picked up her things, put them away and went outside, getting in her little old convertible that had been a gift from her father when she had gotten her license, since then she had moved out of her parents house and gotten a job, fed up with their utter stupidity. She drove to her small quaint little apartment and smiling as her little dog barked, greeting her excitedly, jumping for joy. She picked him up, put on his little green harness and took him outside, walking down the road.

Star walked and soon found herself on the floor, her rump hurting badly.

"Ow! Watch it you-"

Campbell quickly stepped over Star and hushed her down and looked at Sage. He smiled at her and said swiftly and charmingly

"Hey."

He smiled and his eyes looked as if they were hypnotized and locked onto hers. Star growled and got up by herself, now kind of disliking the fact Campbell liked Sage. She rolled her eyes at Sage before walking as Savannah just scoffed at Star's jealousy and laughed and started to walk away, saying to Campbell

"We will be over at the stop sign two blocks ahead once you are done talking to your girlfriend."

Campbell chuckled and said with a sarcastic voice

"We are not dating, Savannah."

She laughed and he said between his teeth

"But I would like us to."

Sage smiled as friendly as she could make herself back. It wasn't her usual forte to me nice, she was a very sarcastically quiet person. She bit back several remarks and finally the two girls walked away. She was suddenly very aware of the fact that she was still wearing. Titan jumped against his let, wagging his little tail. Sage smiled and watched the little dog for a moment before returning her eyes to him, she drank in his features eagerly. "Hi." she replies, feeling a bit sheepish for responding late but she had her reasons.

Campbell smiled and opened his mouth before hearing loud, fake laughter. He would kill Savannah and Star. He looked at her and tried to say something before the girls yelled through laughter again. He groaned slightly before saying "Ya, well, want to come with me to the market?" He knew it truly wasn't the best thing to say to his crush but he needed to head over there and get the groceries before Mr. and Mrs. Anderson got worried. He looked at the small dog and smiled at it before looking up into her soft eyes.

Sage shrugged, "Sure." she said, surprising herself. Normally she would blow people off. She gave a half smile, she'd go with it. She pulled Titan closer and picked him up, holding him like a baby, she had to grab groceries anyways. But now she'd have to go to that party... she never did that, let alone get invited.

Campbell gleamed with happiness as she accepted his request.

'Best. Day. Ever'

He thought in his head as he started to walk slowly. Star and Savannah weren't even there anymore and he knew that they probably went shoppig without him.

'Impatient Children'

He murmured in his head as he said to Sage with a smirk

"How about we to get the meatballs and pizza sauce waiting for us?"

Sage let a grin show up on her face, "Sure, sounds fun enough." she said. Not much of a first date but she wasn't about to get her hopes up or anything. He seemed nice, but she would have to get to know him better so that she could decide if he was playing her or not, but she hoped he wasn't.

Campbell said "Yeah." He rubbed his neck awkwardly before walking down the street to the local pizza parlor. He grabbed the sauce and box of meatballs before walking out. He smiled and said "So, picture day Monday. Can't wait to see what's in store for this year." he smiled and remembered last year. So. Much. Fighting. He looked at her before saying "I am going to drop this off at Star's house. How about we both get ready for the party and head over there?" he smiled and looked at her, waiting for her answer.

Doubtful thoughts ran through her mind but once again her body and voice had a mind of their own. She nodded, "Alright." she smiled. She could already feel herself slipping under his spell and it annoyed her because she had no control over it whatsoever.

Campbell smiled and said good bye to her before running off smoothly and walking into the house. He dropped everything off and picked his things up before running off to his own house. He grabbed his hockey gear and everything before running to the school. He made it panting and he ran to the locker room and changed. He smiled and went out to the ring where he heard screaming and cheering. Dallas said "Let's kick some Mustangs!" the team rooted on themselves before skating out there and seeing their apponents
