"No." Prince stated. "It's too scared of me." he smirked.

Warbler yawned and crawled on her belly over to lay on Prince's foot.

Prince sighed and leaned down, licking the top of her head quietly.

Warbler opened an eye and huffed. "Mer. 'M tryin ta sleep." She grumbled.

Prince smiled and lay down next to her quietly watching their surroundings.

Warbler snuggled closely to Prince, and sighed. Dalton watched outside for any sign of Duke returning.

Duke came back not long later, but no longer alone. A shadow lurked behind him, following his lead to the den. When Prince saw Duke return with his charge he carefully stood up to go talk to him. Duke crept in and lay back down where he was before.

Warbler rolled off of Prince's feet with a thump. She whined, and looked annoyingly up at him, growling with her tiny teeth. She grumbled on about not being able to sleep, before crawling over to Dalton, who was watching Prince intently. Warbler began to snooze on his feet then.

"Sorry Warbs," Prince whispered before carefully stepping out into the night, standing face-to-face with the wolf Duke had been sent to get.
"Didn't think i'd ever hear you call for MY help," the younger one teased Prince. "What's wrong? Scared of the dark or somethin?" he snickered quietly.

Warbler perked at the voice. She lifted her head, before wincing and laying it back down. Dalton licked her scruff more, and Warbs continued to watch Prince.

"Princey, you know good and well i wouldn't call you if it weren't serious," Prince huffed.
Prince sat down and scratched as his scarf with his backfoot. "Shoulda just called Jeremy. He's your best friend anyhoo."
"I did," Prince stated simply. "And he's a good fighter, but not what i need."
Princey's ear flicked and he glanced into the den, looking mostly at Warbler and Dalton. He looked back to Prince. "Added her sibling to your little orphanage huh?"

Dalton snarled, his chin resting lightly on Warbler's back, immediantly not liking Princey. Warbler huffed and rolled her eyes.

"You know a lot.." Prince mumbled.
"I know more then you think." Princey smirked. His own blue eyes reflecting those of Prince. "But never the less, you call, i'll be here." he stated standing up. "Well...i'm always here. You just never see me." Princey rose to his paws with a yawn.
"I don't care when you're here. Will you be here when i need you to be?" Prince asked, annoyed.
"You were there when i needed you. I'll be there when you need me." Princey stated before padding off into the dark brush.
Prince sighed and made his way back into the den.

Warbler opened her ruby eyes, and looked to Prince.
"When did Princey need you?" She asked. Dalton huffed, and lay his head down behind his sister.

Prince sat and curled his tail around his paws.
"Back when he was still young...He got separated from our parents..And he needed someone to look after him." Prince said, looking over to Warbler. "I took care of him for awhile. Kinda was the support our parents forgot to give him."
