"I suppose so," Setsuko murmured.

"Then should we just tell eachotehr everything about our life and stuff, or what?" Rue asked, thinking it over.

Setsuko shook her head slowly. "No. I don't think it would work like that. But what we do need to do is report to Ayumu. Isn't part of the task discovering what it is?"

Rue nodded. "Then let's go," she said, buzzing with excitement.

"Not now," Setsuko interrupted. "Tomorrow. We need rest. And food!" She grinned awkwardly. "Hey Jaci, could you fetch the fish we caught?" Jaci yowled and scampered off towards the lake.

"Fine," Rue sighed, some of her excitement fading momentarily.

Setsuko sat down on her 'bed' as she awaited Jaci's return. For moments, all was silent. "Hey, Rue, we should probably start a fire before Jaci gets backs," She suggested.

"Okay," she agrred. She got up, grabbing random sticks from the pile made earlier. She walked out the door. "Come on!" she called out.

Setsuko followed Rue outside.

Rue was setting up a fire, arranging the sticks into a neat pyramid. She tossed two of them to Setsuko, and then scooted the knife towards her. "Go ahead and peel those why I try and light this," Rue instructed, pulling up tufts of dry grass for kindling. Finding two rocks, she soon had a small fire going.

Setsuko began to peel the bark of the twigs, concentrating the best she could with the though of the task looming in her mind.

Rue looked at the fire a moment before turning to see Setsuko still whittling the bark of the partially peeled sticks.

Setsuko glanced up as she heard what she thought where pawsteps growing closer. Sure enough, Jaci was trotting towards her and Rue, a bundle of fish in his mouth.

Rue's mouth watered at the sight of the fish, her hungry stomach growling.

Jaci sets the fish down. "Thanks, Jaci!" Said Setsuko, ruffling the Blue Lion's scraggly mane. He purred softly, and then louder as Setsuko handed him one of the fish. HE finished it in a few famished gulps. Setsuko then stuck one on her stick and passed another to Rue. There was one left now. Setsuko let Jaci have it.
