Loner stepped away and just looked out on the rain that was pouring down "Well, maybe I'm better off on my own" he said quietly, he pawed open the door silently and walked out into the rain.

"you know you'll catch a cold right?" she shouted after him

Loner ignored her. He leapt over the gate and walked off without looking back I tried to be perfect, It just wasnt worth it he thought. He felt the rain pund on his back as he walked through the mainly deserted streets with no intention of going anywhere. He replayed his faivorite song over and over again in his head to distract himself from the dark thoughts that threatened to take him over. he could see dogs curled up beside fires, or on the sofas with their humans and it raised a lump in his throat as he closed his eyes against threatening tears. He stepped into the street without looking anywhere and heard the squeal of breaks Hit me he begged silently End this miserable excuse for a lifethe cars stopped uinches from him and he continued to walk along on his own. He was much farther than he'd ever been now. His paws were starting to ache and his couldnt feel his legs but he didnt stop. He didnt feel like he was ever going to stop. It was still pretty dark because of the thick clouds and his eyes just watched the floor as he walked along, Eventually his pace started to drag and he lay down just inside and alleyway.

"He'll come back, He'll come back, He'll come back, He'll come back, oh who am I kidding his not coming back" she pushed the door open and saw the rain hit the ground hard. "oh god" she walked outin the rain and began walking down the street

Loner stared miserably at a puddle slowly growing bigger from the rain. He suffled slightly and stood up again. He watched the cars stream past and wondered for the first time what death fealt like...or if he'd feel it at all. He watched a car roar past, paing attention to how fast the wheels spun. Would He die on impact? Life no longer seemed to make sense to him. He took a lungful of oxygen and stepped tpo the ver edge of the curb. He looked for a small opening, large enough to let him step in but small enough that the driver wouldnt notice until he was ontop of Loner.He watched each car spin past Too slow,Too fast, too tall none of these would do. He couldnt Bear it any longer and took a stepp back and closed his eyes, preparig to run out "Noones going to stop me" he promised himself "This is it, Its going to be over soon"

Carmen quickly grew unpaitent and started running instead

Loner took another breath to steady himself. He was shaking slightly, If His COurage failed him now when he was so close "no" he whispered "This is the end of the story" he said. he crouched ready to run. His paws gripping the ground and his heart beating defiantly on. As if it was refusing to let him do this, Each breath seemed like a blow to his chest as fear started to seep over him, His muscles threatened to lock in olace and not let him do this. He took one final breath and moved as if to lunge.

OOC: I have no idea how she got there so fast and how she spotted Loner but anyway...

Carmen lunged at Loner and Pinned him to the ground "you braindead idiotic fool!" she looked sternly at him fire burning in her furious eyes "where you really going to kill yourself!?"
