"Uhhh..." Adam wavered for a moment and before he could deny or reply to her request, the umpire blew his whistle signaling for the players to get to the field. "...I-I'll see you guys after the game..." he said turning and jogging off toward. the field.

"Dang... he was totally about to tell you!" Scotty whined to his sister.

"In this case kinda. You've never cared so much about Adam's love life..." It was at that moment Scotty had a 'blonde realization', something he hadn't payed attention to, or maybe just hadn't noticed until now. He looked at Sydney with a sly smirk but didn't speak at first. The he stated matter of factly, still smirking: "You like Adam!"

Sydney continued arguing against Scotty's accusation the whaler game, insisting she only liked Afam as a friend.

"Like who?" Adam asked when he overheard Scotty, walking over to them, he had changed out of his baseball uniform and now wore faded blue jeans and a grey Hollister shirt.

Scotty grinned slyly and sneered over at Sydney.

"She is lying!" Scotty stated, "Dude you've got to be blind not to see that she's madly in love with y-" the sound of the baseball score board buzzing mad him cut off and flinch at the sudden loud noise.

Once the noise died down Adam looked at Scotty "What'd you say now, Scotty?"

"She totally is!" Scotty sang. "You'll be surprised to know who it is!"

Jennifer came strolling over, she tapped Adam on the shoulder and the red-head yelped with surprise and whirled around.

"Sorry to scare ya'!" She smiled.

"Ummm... i-it's okay..." Adam replied awkwardly.

She giggled and continued: "Say what are you doing after the game? Cause a few of the others players where gonna come hang out with us at my house."

"Umm, I'm not doin' anything..." Adam replied glancing at Scotty then back to the brunette

"So you can come?!" she asked hopefully.

"I-uhh..." he began nervously as he thought a moment.
