"Prince. It's mom." Dalton whispered, shivering at the coldness of the night.

Prince snarled threateningly at the simple name. Holding back calling the female some nasty names of his own.

Mom stood outside, her orange eyes glowing vibrantly, the same way Warbler's did.

Prince rose to his paws, bristling from his scruff to the tip of his tail.
"Flake off," he retorted.

"Relax pops, im here to give the kids a message." He huffed, flicking her tail. "Dad says to come home, or he'll kill them when you least expect it." She warned, before slinking off into the woods.

Prince stayed on his paws, bristling and growling. He lashed his tail to the side as he looked down, thinking.

Dalton looked up at Prince worried. "What are we gunna do?" He asked, looking over to Warbs.

"I'll murder em." he growled. "I'll show em what's what." he snorted, lashing his tail in anger. "I won't let them hurt either of you."

Dalton wagged his tail. "Really?" He asked, walking back over to Warbler.

"It's wrong what they do.." Prince growled. "I won't let them."

Warbler stirred, and grumbled something about being too loud, and Dalton wagged his tail. "Where have you been all our life?" He ask jokingly.

"Screwing up my own life." Prince stated simply. "Duke."
Duke glanced over at Prince who nodded. Within seconds Duke bounded out of the den, obviously on his own little mission.

Dalton jumped up. "Can i do something?" He asked, wagging his tail.

"If you weren't in danger.." Prince glanced back at him. "I'd give you a job too. But the guy i'm sending Duke for.." Prince paused to shake his head. "You don't wanna mess with."

Dalton hung his head and trudged back over to Warbler who had awoken, and was taking in the fact it was still dark. "Is the...apocolypse coming?" She asked, cocking her head.
