Destiny shook her head and said "Buddy's more gone than you and Pain are. Don't overestimate our brother. He's always been the weakest one and he always will be. He's just not shown that he has changed yet but he has more than you two will ever know." She sighed and asked "But how have you three been broken so badly though?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Lost said, waiting for a protest.

Destiny shook her head and said "That will not do brother. I need to know so I can understand why you allowed yourself to go down a path that I cannot follow."

Lost said nothing, but just looked at the ground.

Destiny walked up to her brother and said very sorrily while nuzzling his neck "I'm sorry Lost. I just wanted to know."

Destiny shook her head and said "You shouldn't have taken father's death so hard Lost. None of you should have. It's none of your guys' faults."
Pain looked hurt and lowered his head painfully.
Buddy did the same but more slowly and more painfully.

Lost said nothing but walked away,
Temple was still searching for David.
Jemimah talked to some random he-dogs, batting her eyes playfully.
Calico was whimpering beside Ruger's body.

Roxy walked up to Calico and touched her fur with her nose comfortingly. She smiled sadly and said "I'm sorry for your loss Calico. Is there anything I can do for you?"
One of the he-dogs smiled and said to Jemimah "What's a beautiful thing like you doing around here with so many dangerous dogs around and no male to protect you from them?"
A he-dog laughed from far away but still in earshot of Temple. He said loudly "Why would someone as highly praised as he is be out here all alone? With no protection it seems like. And someone broke him to pieces because he didn't even fight us when we came and got him back a while back." (Let's say that they have some kind of system set up like the Underground Railroad to get David to the bad-guy alpha male.)
Buddy and Pain followed Lost.

Calico glanced at Roxy, and sighed. "No. Their isn't anything." she whispered.
Jemimah rolled her eyes. "Meaning?"
((what do you mean?))
Lost glanced at his brother.

Roxy looked hurt and asked worriedly "Are you sure Calico? I'll do anything you ask me to to help you feel better. I mean it."
The he-dog smiled warmly and said "I just don't like to see pretty girls like yourself get hurt. There is a lot of bad things out there and you need to find someone who will protect you even with his own life if he has to."
((I mean that the dogs pass him along to other dogs until David reaches the alpha male. Do you understand now Tadie?))
Pain looked at Lost and asked angrily "What?!!!"
