"Probably," Rue agrred, her gaze transfixed on the dreams still flying by in the breeze. They lessened in number, and she looked away.

"Whoa," Setsuko said again. Then a thought struck her like lightning. What if.... "Rue. Back to the cabin. Now." Before Rue could answer, Setsuko bolted back towards the temporary home. Jaci scampered after her, a bit spooked by the dreams.

Rue startled by Setsuko's sudden order, followed her back to the cabin, trying not to pass her as she sent a confused and slightly startled galnce behind her.

Setsuko rushed into the cabin, dropping her staff of her 'bed'. She turned as Rue followed. "Rue," She said, face painted with excitement, "We're doing it!"

"Doing what?" Rue asked, confused.

"The task!" Setsuko excalimed, eyes stretched wide with wild excitement. "Ayumu said that as we complete the task, more passageways will be opened to our eyes, and we will begin to see them more clearly! Rue, whatever we did back there, it was part of the task." She paused to breath.

"But what did we do?!" Rue asked, wanting to figure out this puzzle, and get home. Her mind worked furiously.

"I don't know!" Retorted Setsuko, trying to think back. "Let's see. We where together...you where helping me...." And then it dawned on her. The realization stretched across her expression. "I've got it," She breathed. What had they been doing this whole time? When did the passageways show up? And if Wong Shi Tong, the knowledge spirit, really was related to Ayumu...All the pieces where coming together.

"Well, tell me!" Rue said impatiently, itching in anticipation.

Setsuko took a deep breath. "Rue, what have we been doing pretty much as long as we've been stuck in this world?"

"Trying to figure out how to get home?" Rue suggested.

"Well, yes," Setsuko agreed, "But how have we been trying to figure it out?"

"Well, we've been telling eachother our dreams, since that probably has something to do with it," Rue said.

"That too, but no." Setsuko replied. "Rue...we've done this together. Everything we've learned in this world, one never would have learned without the other. Why would it be us who where stuck here? Just us, and Jaci?" She paused for a moment, then continued. "Do you remember when I told you that Ayumu might be related to Wong Shi Tong, the knowledge spirit? Knowledge. Rue, the task was to learn from each other. That's why we're from such different worlds. To gain wisdom and greater knowledge of what is beyond what we've grown up with." Setsuko's unique eyes where alive with a strange sensation as she spoke, as a result of many emotions piling atop each other.

Thoughts swirled in Rue's brain as the puzzle began to piece itself together in her mind, each piece fitting. "SO all we have to do is learn from eachother?" Rue asked, not really needing the question to be answered. She just needed to say it outloud herself.
