Micheal petted Sonya's head. "You must feel better with all that matted fur gone." he said. "You can stay the night in my living room but you'll need to leave in the morning." he said. "Feel free to come back whenever you like."

Maria laughed along with Ana. "How is it you can make any conversation about skunks?" she asked teasingly.
"And wonderful daughters to me," Scout said. "They were the ones to show me what Tanya was doing after all."
Sonya glanced at her mother for reassurnace about this, but was convinced that Aniu would tell her to go with the man.

"Yeah." said Balto. "I'm sorry you had to go through that but at least they cared enoguh to show you."
"Stay the night but we need to get moving in the morning, can't stay in one place too long." said Aniu. She made it start raining outside to make sure that her daughter's scent was washed away.

Maria giggled and lifted her paw up gently as to not scare the pup. She smiled down at her as Maria set her paw down away from the small pup.
"Of course she will," Scout said. "It's hard not to love that trio."

Balto nodded. "Why are there always three of a kind groups in my adventures?" he said, cocking his eyebrow.
Micheal got some blankets and set them by the fire place. "There you go." he said, setting a bowl of water out for her.

"Trios are just commom, I guess," Scout said with a shrug.
Sonya gently licked Micheal's hand in thanks and settled down on the blankets. She was very tired even though it was still the middle of the day.

Aniu smiled, watching her daughter slip into the first good sleep she'd had in a year.
Mako arrived back home. "Alright, all of you wash the blood off." he said, even though Mammoth had been the only one to fight, he'd torn open another dogs throat and splattered it on the other two.

Yasko walked over to a pail of water. He stuck his foot in and used the water to wipe off his chest and face.
Frida ran over to the pail. She stuck her foot in, but knocked over the pail when she lifted it back out.
