Katie laughed, nuzzling her little son. "What do you mean 'were'? You're still cute."

Tai nodded. "I do too."

Kai nodded, bracing himself against the sand covered floor. "Sure, I'll distract him, you grab the whip, once he's preoccupied I'll go for the back of the neck."

Katie nodded, smiling back. "No problem, sweetheart."

Tai nodded, gritting her teeth to block the pain in her head. "Not if we're in such big numbers."

Kai nodded to Balto, crouching low he started cicling around Mako, giving the man a wide berth.

OOC: Sorry for the delay, I was at our church movie night, intrestingly, the movie was Balto.

Cachen nodded. "Momma, do you think Grandpa Balto and Kai are alright?"

"Grandpa, think we should speed up?" asked Lena.

Mako growled and whipped at Kai.

Balto caught the whip in his mouth and held it tight.

OOC: That's pretty cool ^-^ Hope you had a nice time.

Katie nodded, looking concerned. "Grandpa is smart, and Kai is a fighter. they should be just fine."

Bashkei nodded, nudging Lena gently. "We should try to be there while the fight's going on!"

Kai winced a moment, before noting the whip was secured. He lunged for Mako's throat.

OOC: I did, everyone liked Balto, which made me happy.

Mako let go of the whip to try to catch Kai but couldn't and was forced back, slaming against the cage. He threw Kai off but his clothes had gotten entangled in the cage and he was trapped. "What?!" he asked, struggling.

"Kai, enough, he's stuck." said Balto.

Lena nodded as they arrived at the building. "In there!" she said, knocking the door open and running in.

Kai landed on his feeet, skidding across the floor. He looked at Balto, confused. "Why?!" he asked, in a rather harsh tone. "Can you really forget what he did, Granddad?!"

Tai shut her eyes tight, shaking her head as she bounded in beside Lena.

Bashkei was not far behind his Granddaughters as they ran in.

Bashkei, reaching up with a paw, gently rubbed Kai's head, a madness in his eyes. He looked at Mako, not trying to intimidate, not trying to fight. He simply growled out his words. "Be lucky you are not dealing with me... You would have been long dead by now."

Tai helped Lena fend off the angry criminals, growling and snapping at them.

Kai gritted his teeth, looking a bit angry.

In a large mob, the police came in, taking out rifles. Many of the more spineless criminals decided to take off.

Bashkei nodded, giving a wry smile. "As I've said, your mother was a great friend. I owe her much." the wry smile turned into a genuine one. "Now, we should hurry and get those pelts."

Tiga and Dusty helpped bring some of the runners down.

Lena managed to tackle a man to the ground. "I got one grandpa!" she said, jumping off and getting petted as the police arrested the man.

A officer unhooked Mako and handcuffed him. "Mako, finally caught you in the act." he said. "You'll be going away for a long time." he said, then looked to Balto and family and saluted them. "Thanks Balto, you and your family are heroes again, this creep has managed to avoid what's coming to him for years." he said, taking Mako.

Mako growled. "You'll all pay! Here me! I'll have my revenge!" he said, cussing as he was taken out.

Bashkei grinned, almost maliciously. "If you do get out, I'll be there, and we'll end things MY way!" he called back, ears pinned back. "It's over." he said quietly, looking at Kai, who was glaring after Mako and the policemen who encircled him.

Tai smiled, dictracting a man enough to be caught by the police. She looked at Lena, smiling. "It's finally over."

An officer tried to shew Bashkei away, due to his being a pure wolf, but the commanding officer stopped the man. "This is Balto's family, we don't treat heroes that way." he admonished. "Thanks big guy." he said to Bashkei and got a dog treat out of his belt, handing it to the wolf. He looked to them. "Balto, we called...well as close as you have to an owner, they're on their way to get you and your family.
