Shane chuckled, and perked at the sound of a gunshot.

Rochelle raised her head and even Nickel became alert.

Shane stood, walking out into the rain, his ears alert and his eyes widened.
"Hunters. They got..They got Evan." He said, suddenly concerned for his wolf friend's safety. "I need to go help. If i dont, Ethan'll get himself killed."

Rochelle nodded. "Go. Do you want me to tell dad and the pack?"

Egg · **Posted:** Fri Dec 30, 2011 6:15 pm

"Most likely they already know, saty here, for me?" Shane said, before quickly slipping off in the direction of the gunshot.

Rochelle sighed, flopping her ears back as she moved to sit at the front of the den, watching where Shane disappeared.

A few hours later, Shane came back, but not quite the same. He had a slight limp and a hollow look in his eyes.

Rochelle perked when she saw him and got to her feet. "Shane..?" she called to him.

Shane looked up but didn't answer, he simply padded back into the den and lay down, his head on his paws.

Rochelle sighed and went back to her spot and lay down quietly.

"They're dead." Shane stated quietly. "The twins. They shot Evan and Ethan died trying to kill the hunters. Dwight got really injured from the hunter's dogs, and Kurt and Blaine are pretty roughed up."

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Fri Dec 30, 2011 7:11 pm

"Oh gosh.." Rochelle looked to the floor, shaking her head.

Egg · **Posted:** Fri Dec 30, 2011 7:13 pm

Shane nodded solemnly, looking at his paws.
"You should have seen Ethan...He killed both humans in one fail swoop but after Kurt saw he'd been shot and he just..fell."

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Fri Dec 30, 2011 7:17 pm

Rochelle just sighed. "Gosh.." she repeated, unable to find any other words.

Egg · **Posted:** Fri Dec 30, 2011 7:21 pm

Shane nodded, laying his head on his paws again.
