I was confused...No. Not confused, maybe shocked? I felt a type of rush in my chest when Arthur moved infront of me an announced that he loved me. I'm still trying to figure out what love is too...I was about to say, but was silenced when he kissed me. Not me kissing him, he kissed me. At first I was unrespondent, trying to sort my emotions towards him out. But I decided I didn't care. I always did tend to overthink things, so I let myself kiss him back. The kiss was much different from when I had kissed him in the Lab. I decided i'd considder this my first kiss. Everything was so perfect, though it wouldn't be perfect for long. The kiss ended and I felt a smile take my face by force. I blushed wildely and looked at our laced hands "I'm n-not sure ab-about love either, but I love you, too" I said, extremly nervous. I felt my cheeks get very warm and hot as rose bushes bloomed on me face.

Carl swipped his tongue over his lips and nodded, "Okay! Let's do it!" He said in a loud whisper before jumping out from the bushes and pulling the dog kid off of the Burnett. Carl threw the dog boy on the ground and landed a punch on him.

Arthur frowned, but only slightly.
"But..Im not- Riley, as soon as we get out of here.." He began, motioning to the woods around them. "Im going back to England.." He announced sadly, removing his hand from hers, and returning to his place beside Riley.
"And.." Say it. You love Alfred to! say it.. He willed himself, but the words couldn't come out.

He didn't say anything when she gave him his jacket back, then he chuckled "Ya know my Dad says the same thing." his father had been a quarterback when he was in high-school, and was convinced Xander could be to. The next thing Xander knew, Brooke kissed him! He had no clue what to think, his mind just went completely blank for a moment. He blinked and then found himself returning her kiss. "Whoa! What the f**k?!" he shouted when he was thrown to the ground by Carl, he tried to get up but was punched. "B-B-Brook! Run!" Xander coughed trying to get back up, but he was stunned from the pain of Carl's punch.

Russ walked out and stood in Brook's way, so she couldn't escape from them, laughing in a slightly psychopathic way.

Angelica decided to run further in to the forest, leaving her clothes behind as she was already covered with her red fur, sniffing around. She heard a strange noise and decided to investigate, only to see Xander, Brooklyn and a few scientists. One of their faces she recognized - it was Carl. The others were unknown to her.
Angelica saw Carl land a punch on Xander, which immediately made her run out of her hiding spot and make a strange fox growling sound, as a warning for the man to stay away from them. She didn't even realize that she was small enough for them to simply kick into a tree. She didn't care. She began running towards the man and she jumped high into the air, sinking her teeth into Carl's hand.

The very first moment, Jack saw Angel suddenly changing into full-fox form. He blinked, shocked, and as she ran away, he ran after her. He didn't know what was going on, why was he even following her, he just did. Something, some sort of a force made him run after her in full speed. Maybe he liked her? He wasn't sure...
He stopped as he saw Angelica snarling at someone. He saw Xander, Brook and few scientists. He and Angel ran out of their hiding spots at the same time, and both jumped on the scientists. Jack didn't care about whom he was attacking: he didn't know the names of the scientists, he didn't care either. He just bit, punched them anywhere he could, once again in rage. He was slowly, really slowly turning back to human again, but he didn't care. As long as he had his hooves and big horse body, he could've done a lot of damage to the scientists.

Brooklyn screamed when Xander fell to the ground getting punched by the scientist Carl. He told her to run but stumbled over and fell in the snow in fear. When she saw two other scientist emerged from the forest and came toward her she inched backwards trying to get away from them. One was a younger looking scientist she didn't know the name of but she did recognize the man beside him, George. He was one of the men that helped Carl take her into that door were they gave her the ability to turn into a cheetah. Brooklyn saw to other scientist go help Carl with Xander. She looked back up at George who had an evil look on his face, but the other guy kind of scared her. He was laughing strangely which started to scare Brooklyn. Brooklyn knew if she stood up they'd grab her so she inched away from them on the ground. But they kept coming closer. Brooklyn had to stop when she ran into a tree. The two kept coming closer tell they were right in front of her. The sun was other their heads making it hard to see their faces, because of the blinding sun. She'd been crying since Xandeer got hit. Brooklyn looked over at Xander who was looking really bet up. Then Brooklyn saw a fox, whole had to be Angelica jumped out of the bushes and bark at Carl. She then heard cantering which she knew Jack would be close behind. Then out of know where Brooklyn jumped up and punched the younger man with the weird laugh, in the face. She saw him stumbled back some. Brooklyn's never really punched anyone before and she had to say, it felt good punching these goons. But before she could do anything George grabbed her by the neck making her choke and he threw her to the ground. She laid there coughing when she felt George grab both of her arms and put them behind her back. The next moment she heard a click behind her head. Now she was sobbing. George lefted her up and yelled, "Stop fighting or your friend gets killed," he yelled at her friends. Brooklyn knew he had a gun loaded behind her head, and she knew he'd kill her if they didn't stop.

Angelica's jaws released the mans hand the moment she heard another scientist speak the words. She fell onto the ground. She was still growling and after she stood up, she stood in a position that warned George she might bite. However, she hesitated. She didn't want her friend to get hurt.
Her fox instincts told her to run away and forget them. Forget Xander, forget Brooklyn, forget her friends and live her life alone. What's left of her human side told her to stay and think. Think how to get him away. Could she just lunge at him and bite his hand, forcing him to throw the gun away? But what if he'd push the trigger before she did anything? What if he would kill her?
Angelica looked back at Jack, a horse that was slowly becoming human. His horse side scared her because of it's size, but this time she pushed herself hard to ignore him. She looked over at Xander once again, before looking back at George. She made a step backwards, but a threatening sound was still coming out of her throat that just screamed, "Get away from her!" despite it being just a few strange sounds.

"No! Leave her alone!" Xander shouted almost in a pleading way, when George put a gun to Brook's head.

Russ looked from Brook to Xander "Hehe! Looks like dog boy has a crush, fellas!"

"Shut up!" Xander shouted jumping up and punching the man across the face, but he didn't deny Russ's accusation.

The young scientist staggered away and stood dazed a moment, then he lunged with a raised arm.

Xander caught his arm before he could hit him, a tranquilizer needle was only inches from his face, gripped in Russ's hand. Xander snatched it away but was kicked to the ground by Russ.

"Just shoot her George!" Russ growled pulling out his own gun and pointing it at Xander, who sat up and froze.

The red fox turned her head to Xander, who was also in a horrible situation. "I'd go for their face, but I cannot reach it," Angie thought, cursing her small size. She didn't even know who to attack, Russ or George, remembering what George said - they'll shoot Brooklyn if they continue. She didn't want it to happen. Russel would probably shoot Xander too. Angelica finally made up her mind and ran up to George at full speed and jumping up she bit him on the arm, hoping that would distract the two scientists, and then Jack could attack Russ. That's what she wanted to happen, but she couldn't speak horse nor human now, she had no ways of telling what she planned.

Russ turned to look at George when Angelica attacked the other man.

With that Xander lunged up and grabbed his gun, but he couldn't pry it from his grip.

"Just leave us all...alone!" Xander snarled trying to manuver the needle he held to strike the man.

"Not...a chance...kid!" he puffed surprised by Xander's strength.

Xander felt nothing but sheer rage at that moment, he held the gun and tried to pry it from Russ's strong grasp, but he also held the tranquilizer needle. Then their was a pop as the gun fired. Xander felt horrible pain run through him then he fell back and landed on his side, limp in the snow. Blood seeped through his shirt making appear as if he had been shot in the chest.

Brooklyn paled greatly when Xander kept fighting. She knew George would shoot soon. But then Angelica jumped up and bit George making him snarl and he loosened his grip on her hands. She was able to escape just in time when a gun shot rang out and the bullet missed just inches from her head. She ducked out of the way and then heard another shot thinking that George shot Angelica but the younge scientist had shot Xander instead. Everything was just a blur. She ran to Xander's side and pulled him toward the bushes trying to get away from the scientist. Most likely the others back at camp heard the gun shots and they'd be coming soon. Brooklyn was crying seeing the blood all over Xander's chest. She kept whispering it was going to be okay, but she didn't know if it was. The gun could have hit something important in his body. She left his shirt some to see the wound. She got some snow and said, "This may be a little cold," she put some snow on the wound to try to stop the bleeding but it still wasn't working. "Cr**," She said in gasps. Then Brooklyn looked down at her bandages and saw the cloth that was over her wound. Her wound must have healed by know so she ripped off the bandages she had on and started put them over Xander's wound.

One part of her plan worked - Angelica succeeded in making the scientists unable to shoot Brooklyn, however, Xander got hurt instead. Angelica didn't loosen her grip on George's arm, even when Brooklyn dragged Xander away. Angie had to distract the scientists for a little longer, not caring if that would get her hurt. A side of hers wanted to release and cry, even though she wasn't able to, but she had to keep strong. She had to do so, otherwise the scientists may just try to get them again.

"D-did you hear that?" Oscar jumped a little. He heard what happened. The sound might have been faint, but he managed to hear it. He saw Tom try to listen closer and David shake his head. Oscar sighed. "People rarely go there. What if there are more scientists willing to get the escaped teens?" He wondered out loud.
"No way," David disagreed, "No one with a half of a brain would go there. Plus, they'll probably die when they run out of food or something, I don't know, but they will die." He spat out, still shivering. Tom was silent.

Xander didn't move he just lay limply in the snow.

Russ growled and regained himself, he walked over to Brook. "You might as well forget him! He ain't gonna make it, if he's not gone already!" he pointed the gun at her, "You should just come with us!"
