"Now that's an intresting story." said Aleu, smiling to her pups. "Your grandfather on my side is named Balto, he's the one Luke will be living with and you'll all get to meet him." she said. "He once saved an entire town and became a hero, want to hear the story?"
Luke nodded. "You bet!" he said, though still sad inside, he was curious about his bloodline.
"I want to hear it too!" said Tina.

Aleu nodded. "Alright, Balto lives in Nome, Alaska, a few years ago, he was an outcast, hated by the town for being a wolfdog." she said. "But two people in town didn't hate Balto, a beutiful Husky named Jenna and her human, a little girl named Rosie." she said. "Then there was a dog named Steele, who was a bully." she said. "He picked on Balto everyday." she said. "Then the towns children came down with a terrible illness."

Aleu chuckled. "Yes but he's a good dog now." she said. "He helpped save Nome from Niju a little bit ago but that's a story for another time." she said. "Anyway, the humans decided to hold a race for the dogs on a sled team to get medicine for the sickness. Balto won but Steele made it seem like he was unfit to race." she said. "So Steele and his team went to get the medicine but got lost in the blizzard...so Balto went to help them, despite the entire town hating him, Steele most of all, the two that loved him made him willing to risk everything to save it."

Aleu nodded. "Yeah." she said. "He goes to find them but gets attacked by a big mean grizzly bear." she said, pretending to be a bear, making Luke and Tina laugh.

Aleu made sure they didn't fall off the Orca's back. "Alright." she said, once they settled down. "The bear nearly crushed him to death but Jenna came and risked her life to save Balto, she did it because she loved him, and vice versa." she said. "Balto lured the bear into a frozen lake but fell in himself and nearly drown but was saved by two polar bears that were his friends, Muk and Luk." she said. "Jenna warmed him up with her own body because the water was so cold."

"Not all polar bears." said Aleu. "Muk and Luk are diffrent, they're really nice." she said. "Jenna was hurt so Balto had his friends take her back to Nome while he kept going." she said. "He found the sled team and all but Steele accepted his help, Steele tried to kill Balto..." she said, leaving it at a bit of a cliff hanger for their reaction.

"Yeah what happened?!" asked Luke, excited, as was Tina.
"Well Steele made a mistake and fell off a cliff." said Aleu. "But he survived and messed up Balto's trail, getting the sled team lost and went back to Nome, telling a lie to make himself look like a hero." she said. "Balto ended up falling off a cliff with the medicine but met a white wolf, who showed him to feel pride in his wolf half, this was Aniu, your great grandmother." she said. "Balto climbed back up the cliff, dragging the medicine all by himself."
