Tai nodded "We're definitely close! I can feel it!" she looked off into space, still running, her ears pinning back. She shook her head however, continuing to run.
"So do I." said Kodi, smiling at his friend. "Do you think the musher will have us stay for the night?"
Jenna kept staring, her eyes lightning up. "It's....it's beautiful."

Lena nodded. "I can't wait to see it up close."
"He'll probably have a telegraph sent to Nome to check on the dogs to see if we need to hurry back." said Fang. "If so, we'll have to take few rests between here and home."
Balto nodded. "Whenever you see something new, it takes your breath away, doesn't it?"

"Not as much as you did, when we first met." Jenna winked softly at her mate.
Kai smirked, leaning over. "Hey, can't wait to see if you meet any girls, little brother. Like I said before, they'll definitely be all over you." he said to Cachen, chuckling
Kodi nodded. "I'm reckoning it's only been about five days...We can make it back with a day to spare."

Balto blushed under his fur. "Same goes for you."
Cachen blushed. "But how will she come home if I find my true love?" he joked.
Fang nodded. "But considering we ran into a feral tiger already, he may want to speed up to make more headway so if something unexpected does happen we don't lose a lot of time."

Jenna laughed, nuzzling Balto lightly.
Kai smiled "We'll find a way, trust me!" he grinned.
Kodi looked back at Mr. Simpson. "Consider our owner though, you do remember when Dusty tripped an almost cut herself with the line don't you? We were delayed two hours. He cares about us, Fang. Besides the fact the pups are here."

Balto smiled. "You're the best mate I could ask for."
"I'll leave it up to you if we find her." said Cachen.
Fang nodded. "And remember when you broke your leg?" he asked, Kodi had once gotten a bad break in his front leg, it had smashed off a rock in an accdent. "He refused to go out until you were better."

Kodi turned away, chuckling. "I remember, Katie was worried for me, since I couldn't go see her..." he smiled "I'm making it up to her...by God, I-I love her, Fang."
"No no." Kai said, shaking his head. "You're going to take it all the way."
Jenna smiled lovingly at him. "And so are you."

"I know pal." said Fang. "And you'll be the first thing she sees when she wakes up." he said. "She's the best mate you could dream of." he said. "She forgave you...and even Dusty for the episode that happened." he said. "Not every female would do that, it takes true love to do that."
"I think most of it matters on the musher." said Cachen.
Balto nodded. "Love is something special, that's for sure."

Kodi closed his eyes for a moment. "I'd have done anything I could to make her happy after that." the reality of it though, was that Katie was happy because he was there, not what Kodi did for her.
"Trust me," Kai smirked "We've been going far and fast...He'll give us maybe a day and a half, two days before we head back, we'll have plenty of time."
Jenna nodded, looking up for a moment. "I can see Juneau, Balto...We should be there soon."

"And she still loves you." said Fang. "Dusty forgave you too...and apolgized for kicking you in the groin so hard you were lifted off the ground."
Cachen nodded. "But its still importent we get home, we all know that."
Balto looked ahead and saw the lights of the city. He gave a howl to alter everyone to it.

Kodi winced. "Don't remind me. I thought I would've had to tell Katie there'd be no more pups for us."
Kai nodded, tail wagging slowly. "True. We need to help, and that's what we're doing."
Jenna smiled, happy beyond belief for one brief moment, she howled with her mate.

Fang looked up. "Look, there's the town!" he said, looking at the beutiful lights.
Cachen looked up at the town lights, they gave him a sudden rush of hope.
Lena looked up. "Tai look!" she said. "The town!"

Kodi's body felt as if a weight was lifted off of it. He looked at the lights, overjoyed.
Kai blinked, looking at the dazzling lights with awe.
Tai laughed softly, almost jumping her height in the air as she howled, new hope surging through her.

Balto barked back to the musher, trying to get his attention.

Mr. Simpson looked up at the lights, then to the bark. He nodded, knowing all too well there would be there soon.
